Connecting Dots

I peeked behind the curtain today.

You know the one.

Along with some physicists,

philosophers, mathematicians,

cosmologists, the like.

Peering into what is,

could or would, may

and may not be

the wizard.

Was s/he

there?

Nothing

was there.

No thing.

And, of course,

everything.

Just behind

the curtain.

Georges Seurat

had an inkling as

to what is

actually

here,

in view of

there and where.

Draw impossibly near

and you see marvelously

minute distinct

points of

color:

light.

Stand back, it is a

continuous scene,

points invisible

to the eye’s

sweep.

As points

merge lines

that frame

places,

people,

portals.

So, too, the

reality in which

we find ourselves

being real.

Discreet

persons

with one

of a kind

senses

of what

is real.

At least by our,

if occasionally

all, accounts.

This is

the point,

the dots that

connect the particles

as the waves, the atoms

in the numbers, the

worlds by the

stream, the

streaming.

Arriving here

is arriving at our

supernatural

state of

one.

Of a kind.

That is

one

with

all kinds.
