Resolved

Resolved

To true my sacred thread in this
warped and weft life;

to let my rays find the folds,
edges, cracks, streams;

to be the river I never
step into twice;

to encounter the face of god
in all I face;

to walk in peace when shadows loom
and this clay feels soft, heavy;

to catch rainbows unawares and
mosses moving mountains;

to know the magic of the universe of universes
as mine to be—hold;

to find beauty even
when it hides;

to trust the signs and symbols, the calls
and evanescent nudges;

to believe that I am where
I am meant to be;

to follow the stars to
my buried treasure;

to allow myself to grow old
seeing I am ageless;

to let wildness take my hand
wander me where it will;

to speak my mind's
heart and soul;

to live ever more into the mystery
rather than clues;

to bloom as I am planted,
to seed my patch of earth;

to let the child in me play
adult, elder;

to smile for no apparent reason at no one
and everyone in particular;

to allow change to do its best
to alter my reality;

to bring the depth of my love to the depths of my
fears, however fearsome—afraid—they may be;

to recognize my sovereign loneliness as a portal
to touching what cannot be touched;

to wander the field of plenty,
share its bounty as freely;

to give up the ghosts, let bygones be
gone by;

to occupy oneness amidst division,
exponential multiplication;

to feel it all, all
as mattering;

to recollect the condition of humankind
as unconditional;

to take in the music of trees as they sing
to songbirds, toadstools, snowdrifts, me;

to make my days count in moments not minutes,
presence not projection;

to merge with
emergence;

to stop striving and let going
be long gone;

to leave the cave
finally;

to let the inscrutable
show me the way;

to become limitless, sloughing anything that has
me believe I am not that which I am;

to exhale what was,
inhale what is;

and shall be.

Tomorrow lurks in us, the latency to be all
that was not achieved before.
