From the moment we are born until when we die, spirit guides are always there at our side. Various of these non-physical entities will come to our aid or help us learn specific lessons. They can stay with us for a few days or even several years and will only go once we understood their teachings. They can appear in either male or female form and all of us will have at least one main spirit guide at our side and some may have even two.

Songs or ads you hear – Spirits can send us subtle messages through songs and even ads. If you listen carefully, you’ll hear the answers. Once I was walking in a park mulling over a dilemma. Luckily, the PA system played a song that provided some insight into what I was going through.   

Thoughts and feelings – Our guides can send us messages through our thoughts and feelings. 

Signs – Guides are fond of sending us signs but we have to pay attention, otherwise we’ll miss them. For example, whenever I’m driving on a busy street or open road, some animal, often a dog, will cross my path. When I see them, I slow down or even stop to let them pass. I see that as a sign to drive carefully and watch out for pedestrians.   

How to meet your spirit guide 

It is possible to meet your spirit guide through practising meditation. If you’re contacting your guide for the first time, it is best to get the assistance of a trusted psychic or clairvoyant. As you meditate, a psychic can guide you through your meditation to connect with your guide. Guides can also provide information about themselves. For example, you can ask them who they are but don’t expect a straight answer. Instead, they can reveal their personal details by sending signs.
