Background

October in a nutshell is about transformation and introspection. It's a month when you can go deeper with yourself and release old patterns that stop you from stepping into your power. The October 21 New Moon in Libra signals a powerful time for new beginnings and manifestations after the preceding eclipse.

How To Make Progress

To make the most progress in October, I suggest you take time for inner work - meditation, quiet contemplation, and focus on looking at yourself with new eyes.

Specific Dates & Their Energetic Signature

October 6: Full Moon in Aries - A stirring of courage. Issues may come to a head. Excellent time to release old patterns. During your spiritual practice, invite a knowing of what needs to go, and invite energetic assistance for releasing what no longer serves.
October 13: Mercury enters Scorpio - A time to adjust and reflect. Look at what's working, what isn't - no judgment. Invite a higher view of situations, bypassing your judgmental ego.
October 17: Venus enters Libra - Relationship energies come forward. A good time for negotiations, partnerships and diplomacy. Make time to communicate from the heart in your relationships. Remember that communication can be both direct with the other person, and telepathic. Sometimes it helps to first communicate telepathically with someone - then have the actual 1-on-1 conversation.
October 21: New Moon in Libra - This Moon provides seeds of new balance, new relational or partnership energies. This can be a powerful time to set intention around fairness, collaboration, mutuality.
October 23: Sun enters Scorpio - The focus shifts to deeply personal transformation, intuition, introspection, and the pursuit of truth. To make the most of this time, say "yes" to deep emotional healing and release. During your spiritual practice, intend to go deeper within yourself to better understand patterns preventing you from moving forward. As you acknowledge these patterns, without judgment, you can transform them and move on.
