The ego seeks familiarity, comfort and what is known.  The soul yearns for growth and expansion encouraging us to embrace change and step into the unknown. 

By observing our thoughts and reactions, without judgment, we can discern whether what we are focusing on or intending stems from egoic fear or our soul’s guidance.  

The energy today can stir up feelings of restlessness and the urge to act impulsively.  You are reminded of the need to take a moment to pause, breathe and ensure that whatever choices you make or actions you take are aligned with your soul.  Be mindful that the needs of the ego and the needs of the soul are often opposing forces that can create both inner and outer conflict.  Allow yourself to be guided by the rhythm of what is really essential to your life now.
