The Elders: Forgotten Steps — Why the Mind Blocks Your Progress

You had a plan. Then it vanished. The Elders explain why the mind actively works against your evolution — and what you can do today to take back the navigation of your own life.

Do you wonder why the mind seeks to block those steps you were getting ready to do, and now you do not recall what that thing was? Do you want to change that so it cannot continually thwart your steps? What can be done in this way, and why does the mind want as it does?

Mental Ambitions

You see, the mind is not so highly evolved, and it does not seek your evolution. It does not want you to move to the point of no longer needing it, and so this is what it does. It seeks to confound and minimize rather than expand and evolve. We want you to realize that it will never change in this regard. You may believe that you do not have such a manipulating mind, but it is simply that you do as it suggests. It does not seem to confound you and your life because you have not contested it. When it says to jump, you ask: how high?

Might you consider that in the mix of all things, the mind wants control of all that you do? And when what you do is not sufficient for what it wants you to do, well, it has a heyday. Recognize that you are the one who is to direct its steps and not as the mind has orchestrated for you to now do. It will not yield in this way, for control is hard to give up. You see that on the world stage today, and those who manipulate to no end but their own. It is simply that they do not want to yield that control, as it is something hard to divest from.

Alternate Steps

And so, take steps today to look differently at what the mind plots to enact. Might you look at it and know that it was simply meant to be a tool and not the navigator of all you do within a day? It is never satisfied, for how can it be when it has no means to do until you do. It has no means or method to enact more within a day unless you focus on what it wants. You are the enabler of all of that. Limit what it is that you orchestrate there. Know that you (and your steps) are truly the determiner of what does or does not get enacted within a day. Know this, and know that more will be when you truly recognize what you need to see in a more clear-cut way.

Be Conscious

Move consciously. Move with intention and purpose. Move in a way so that more can be a part of your life and in play today. Enlist the best steps and stay observant of the thoughts you think, for they are not as you might now suppose.
