Higher Self Message: Ego vs. Truth

Higher Self Message: Ego vs. Truth

However, it is not the ego that determines how strong a person's ego is, but rather the person's identification with the ego. Every person has the choice between egocentricity and self-determination.

Those who are connected to their true self perceive the ego differently. These people use their ego as a servant and make sure that the ego does not take center stage in their lives or become the master of their lives.

Dear Mr. Kassl,
My question to the Divine Spiritual World would be:
"What is the ego from the perspective of the Spiritual World?"

Thank you very much for your effort in making yourself available as a channel.

Kind regards,
Petra

Ego-Centrism or Self-Determination?

The ego is connected to the embodiment of a human being and is established at the beginning of incarnation. The end of an incarnation also means the end of the ego. On the spiritual-soul level, the ego has no validity, as we act through the Self in higher dimensions.

The ego serves an important function for human beings in the third dimensional density: it responds to physical and psychological needs and sounds the alarm when survival is threatened or perceived to be at risk.

Unlike the Self, the ego is a temporal phenomenon and is concerned solely with interests that serve earthly life and the physical and psychological survival of a person. Excessive identification with the ego leads to a self-centered personality focused solely on its own needs.

Such individuals are barely, or only partially, capable of perceiving life from a bird’s-eye perspective.

From a spiritual viewpoint, the ego is the navigator for earthly matters. It detects threats, warns of impending danger, and protects what it deems in need of protection. The ego is closest to itself, and in this lies its value, its justification, and its significance.

However, how strongly the ego manifests in a person is not determined by the ego itself, but by the person's identification with it. Every person has the choice between ego-centrism and self-determination.

Those connected with their Self perceive the ego differently. Such a person employs the ego as a servant and ensures that it neither takes center stage in life nor attempts to rise as the master of life.

Servant or Tyrant?

This means: the more constant and stable a person’s connection to the imperishable Divine, the fewer fears can be triggered. In this way, the ego becomes unemployed, and the ego’s self-exaltation becomes impossible!

Whoever knows that life is eternal and that death is an illusion remains unaffected by alarmism and by the ego’s natural fears of lack and loss, and instead decides from the Self.

In summary: The transient ego fulfills valuable functions during a human life, but loses significance in proportion to how much the person interacts and connects with their Self.

Upon shedding the physical body, the ego dissolves completely, and we return under the guidance of the Self to our spiritual home.

This means: whether your connection to your Self is intact or inactive determines how much influence the ego has over your daily decisions throughout your life.

Where do you direct your attention, and to whom do you give power?
The ego as a good servant or a great tyrant?
The Self as the highest authority or a forgotten reality?

Life after life, you come closer to this truth — by the GRACE OF GOD.

HIGHER SELF
