The Perfect Person

Spirit
You’ve probably heard it said, “There is nothing to seek and nothing to find.” (Attributed to Marty Rubin.)
Many humans spend entire lifetimes looking outside themselves for what they will never find “out there.”
Do you want to change the world? To eliminate all violence, war, and hatred? Do you want to live in a world filled with love, kindness, and compassion? Do you want to find the perfect person, perhaps your soulmate, to travel life’s road with?
Perhaps your “perfect person” will be one who has all the qualities you admire. S/he will be:
- Your perfect partner on life’s highway.
- Someone who completes you.
- Able to straighten out all those lost and lonely souls out there.
- One who can create peace and love everywhere s/he goes
- One who makes you feel good by just being with you
And so on. S/he is your perfect person.
Is this a wild, impossible dream? Is there someone like that out there? Someone you’ve dreamed about over many lifetimes?
The answer depends on the question:
- Is this a wild, impossible dream? No
- Is there someone like that out there? No
- Is this someone you’ve dreamed about over many lifetimes? Yes
Many humans spend lifetimes looking for all the wrong things in all the wrong places. But they fail to realize, as in that quotation above, there is nothing to find.
You’ve heard us say many times over the years, “You are God.” But do you really believe that? It’s true whether you believe it or not.
If you do believe it, then you know exactly where to look for what you want. You look within.
It is that simple. Don’t make it complicated. Always look to the God within. There you will find all answers, all solutions, all you wish for.
That perfect person is you. You need search no more.

In the early 1980s, John took a spiritual development course and was introduced to his first spirit guide, Lydia. After Lydia arrived, three other guides also came to him: Archangel Michael, Tamarra, and Chief Joseph. Today these are John’s four main guides. Besides his four main ones, John has various other guides. The entire group is really a multidimensional collective consciousness. John refers to the entire group simply as “Spirit.” Source
