The Intelligence of the Body

The Intelligence of the Body

According to ancestors from different parts of the world, our bodies feel and think.

For example, in the case of the ancestors of the Australian tribes, when a person is injured or falls ill, the tribe gathers around the sick person and sings asking for forgiveness for the wound or affected part. This automatically begins to show signs of improvement, when 'miraculous' cures occur.

The same happens in the astonishing cures of the kahunas or Hawaiian 'magician' doctors. They enter into prayer, in direct communication with the affected party, asking for forgiveness. This act of prayer involves the magicians, the patient and all the lives during which they may have met and been involved with that person. And here, too, cures considered 'miraculous' occur.

In the ancestral knowledge of the Incas, everything is reciprocity. When someone gets sick or vibrates with heavy (destructive) energy or "hucha", because they have selfish attitudes, they don't let the "sami" or light (subtle and positive) energy flow. That's why in healings we ask that part of the body to harmonize with 'pachamama', allowing the circulation of healthy energies to rebalance. And the person is healed.

In the case of the Lakota’s, in North America, they speak to the body to inform you that there is a medicine that will heal you. And of course, many of the people heal.

As we see, examining some cases of ancestral medicine, we came to an interesting conclusion: the ancestors accepted the parts of our body as a completely intelligent and autonomous being of the brain. This over the past few centuries has come to be considered fraud or superstition. But let's look now at the most recent discoveries in science.

The wisdom of the body is a good point of access to the hidden dimensions of life: it is totally invisible, but undeniable. Scientists and doctors began to accept this fact in the mid-eighties. Previously, intelligence was considered to be unique and exclusive to the brain. Then, evidence of intelligence was discovered in the immune system and, soon after, in the digestive system that begins in the mouth and ends in the large intestine.

The Intelligence of the Immune System

Dr. Bert discovered ( and soon other scientists confirmed ), that there are types of smart receptors not only in brain cells, but in all cells, of all parts of the body ( initially called neuropeptides ) . When they started to observe the cells of the immune system, for example, those that protect against cancer, against infections, etc., they found receptors of the same types as those of the brain.

In other words, your immune cells, the ones that protect you from cancer and infections, are literally watching over each of your thoughts, each emotion, each concept you emit, every wish you have. Each small T and B cell in the immune system produces the same chemicals produced by the brain when it thinks. This makes it very interesting, because now we can say that immune cells are thinking. They are not as elaborate as brain cells, which can think of Portuguese, English or Spanish. But yes, they think, feel, get emotional, desire, rejoice, be sad, etc. And this is the cause of illness, stress, cancer, etc. When you get depressed you go on strike and let the viruses that settle in your body pass through.

The Intelligence of the Digestive System

50 years ago it seemed absurd to talk about intelligence in the intestines ( although Traditional Chinese Medicine always spoke ). It was known that the lining of the digestive tract has thousands of nerve endings, but that they were considered simple extensions of the central nervous system ( SNC ), a means to maintain the tasteless task of extracting nutritious substances from food. Today we know that, after all, the intestines are not so innocent. These nerve cells that extend through the digestive tract form a sophisticated communication system that responds and decides to external events: a disturbing comment at work, an imminent danger, the death of a relative. Stomach reactions are as reliable as thoughts and equally complicated: pray and watch!

Liver Intelligence ( part of the digestive system )

Colon, liver and stomach cells also think, only not with the verbal language of the brain. What we call “ visceral reaction ” is just an indication of the complex intelligence of these billions of cells. In a radical medical revolution, scientists accessed a hidden dimension that no one suspected: cells have outperformed us in intelligence for millions of years.

The Intelligence of the Heart

Many believe that consciousness originates only in the brain. Recent scientific investigations suggest, in fact, that consciousness emerges from the brain and body acting together. Increasing evidence suggests that the heart plays a particularly significant role in this process. Much more than a simple bomb, as has ever been believed, the heart is now recognized by scientists as a highly complex system, with its own functional “ brain ”. That is, the heart has a brain or specialized intelligence. According to new investigations in the field of Neurocardiology, the heart is a sensory organ and a sophisticated center for receiving and processing information. The nervous system that acts inside the heart ( or the “ heart brain ” ) enables you to learn, remember and make functional decisions regardless of the cerebral cortex. In addition to the extensive network of nerve communication that connects the heart with the brain and the rest of the body, the heart transmits information to the brain and the body, interacting through an electric and magnetic field.

And READ ... The heart generates the most powerful and most extensive electric field in the body. Compared to that produced by the brain, the electrical component of the heart field is something like 60 times greater in amplitude, and reaches each cell in the body. The magnetic component is approximately 5000 times stronger than the brain's magnetic field and can be detected several meters away from the body with sensitive magnetometers.

Important recommendations

The HeartMath Institute's investigations suggest that breathing with Attitude is a tool that helps to synchronize your heart, mind and body to give you a more powerful psychophysiological coherence. By using this technique regularly – try 5 times / day – you will develop the ability to make a change in attitude durable. Breathing with Attitude, you focus on your heart and the solar plexus, while breathing with a positive attitude. The heart will automatically harmonize the energy between the heart, the mind and the body, increasing awareness and clarity.

The Attitude Breathing Technique

Put the focus on your heart while inhaling.

While exhaling, place the focus on the solar plexus. The solar plexus is about 10 cm below the heart, just under the outer, where the right and left sides of the rib cage come together.

Practice inhaling through the heart and exhaling through the rib cage for 30 seconds or more to help anchor your attention and energy there. Then choose some positive attitude or thinking to inhale or exhale during those 30 seconds ( or more ). For example, you can inhale an attitude of esteem and exhale an attitude of attention.

Practice different combinations of attitudes that you want to develop. You can say out loud: “ Breathe Sincerity, Breathe Courage, Breathe Tranquility, Breathe Gratitude ” or any attitude or feeling you want or need. Even if you don't feel the change in attitude at first, even making a genuine effort to change, it will help you achieve a neutral state, in which you will have more objectivity and save energy. ”
