A universal of being human is that as we evolve, we grow in our understanding of what is true and what isn’t true, and under what conditions, as we leave old truths behind and embrace new truths.

We are in a time of transition between the old “let go, let god” era of Saturn in Pisces and the new “just do it” era of Saturn in Aries. It’s a very productive time as Saturn is in favorable aspect to both Uranus and Pluto, showing we can make progress in establishing the foundations of the new life we’ll jump into in early 2026.

We learned a lot about blessing and forgiving much during our time in the dreamscape which we’ll be able to use skillfully when we get one last look back between September and February. So we’re in the zone where past and future overlap, and because we have evolved during the past two years in tremendous ways, we have a new understanding that yesterday is not today.

A mature understanding is a function of Saturn, and each new circumstance we encounter adds to our knowledge of the coping skills we need as we adapt to the constantly changing circumstances of everyday life. If we make our inner Saturn our friend, we understand that each moment is part of an unending streams of opportunities to integrate or re-integrate our bodies, feelings, and minds to become a more healthy human being.

We all encounter various challenges and crises, and through what we learn, we transform what we believe is true as we become more aware of the factors which brought us to those challenges and crises. Our sense of truth is constantly changing based in our level of awareness, and each step brings us to lessons of discernment, detachment, compassion, and our power to generate positive actions, thoughts, and feelings. Over time with a broader perspective, we come to know what is absolutely true, what is conditionally true, what is apparently true, and what is untrue.

This makes it obvious that many things we believe when younger must be released, or at least re-framed, in the light of advanced experience. Everything serves to bring us out of fear, ignorance, and superstition into a greater understanding, as every crisis and challenge we encounter helps us learn to choose, decide, and respond. These choices and decisions shape our future.

Live is a never-ending series of realizations that we are not who we believed we were with the ever-present challenge to adapt and grow in the light of a greater understanding. It can take a minute or a month, but when the lightbulb goes on in our consciousness, we will never be as we were, and have to figure out how to incorporate our expanded awareness in our personality expressions. That inevitably means leaving behind old habits in acting, feeling, and thinking.

Every day we are offered opportunities to find new ways of expressing our Light, Life, and Love that will bear fruit in the future. Here Nature offers us an insight. If we would find new ways to BE our loving, wise intelligence, we must, like the trees, withdraw our life force from branches that are dead, and sprout new branches in new directions of growth.

Most of us do not like to let go of what has been familiar. However, as we voluntarily create space in our Being by withdrawing from fruitless actions, feelings, and thoughts, by letting go of something or someone or even an idea, we experience a sense of emptiness. Most want to fill the space with something which feels familiar, but it’s better to “hold the emptiness” so we may attract what is perfect for our evolved Self.

At the same time, when we refuse old patterns which no longer satisfy our evolutionary need and turn toward better actions, feelings, thoughts, and aspirations, we naturally stop agonizing over old parts of our life that no longer exist. They are echoes of memories which can feel very strong, but only because they are of our past and not our future. This helps us detach from echoes of memories of perceptions and stop longing for what is no more.

AND! We do not live in a vacuum. Because the entire human race is moving through simultaneous endings and beginnings, we have to sort out what we’re experiencing in our own “Hero’s journey” apart from the signals we’re picking up in the collective feeling field.

Endings are a natural part of evolution itself. Because to live is to grow, as long as we’re alive we will be navigating between the old and the new. On the one hand, we are evaluating, releasing, or re-framing old interpretations, perceptions, and ways of doing our Being, and at the same time cultivating what we need to develop so that we can flow with what’s emerging rather than get confused or disoriented.

There is no point in fearing endings, or trying to hold on to something which is no longer real for us. Each step we take toward greater awareness brings its own karma which will be fulfilled in countless ways. We were given true wisdom in this fragment from “An Essay On Karma,” itself a part of Light On The Path, one of the oldest books on Earth and certainly one of the most venerable works ever written.

In a few places I have substituted certain terms that may be more familiar to our western minds than the original term used by the author. I have also attempted to make it gender-neutral. For your consideration,

"It is said that a little attention to the pursuit of truth produces great Karmic results. That is because it is impossible to give any attention to the pursuit of truth without making a definite choice between what are familiarly called good and evil. The first step in the pursuit of truth brings the student to the tree of knowledge. Then you must pluck and eat; you must choose.

No longer are you capable of the indecision of ignorance. You go on, either on the good or on the evil path. And to step definitely and knowingly even but one step on either path produces great Karmic results.

The mass of humanity walk waveringly, uncertain as to the goal they aim at; their standard of life is indefinite; consequently their Karma operates in a confused manner. But when once the threshold of knowledge is reached, the confusion begins to lessen, and consequently the Karmic results increase enormously, because all are acting in the same direction on all the different planes: for the one who pursues truth cannot be half-hearted, nor can they return when they have passed the threshold.

These things are as impossible as that the adult should become the child again. The individuality has approached the state of responsibility by reason of growth; it cannot recede from it."

This makes it clear that as we grow in awareness, everything in our lives converges on everything which will strengthen the connection between our personality and our Higher Self. What you’ve just read is a reminder that our task is to become the integrity we are and maintain that integrity for our life. This allows us to steer our growth into patterns which fulfill our heart and whatever purposes we are here to accomplish.

As we learn to let go of the old with grace and embrace our ever-evolving “Truth of Being,” we find many elements of our old sense of things fall away like dead leaves in Autumn, leaving us with visions of a better future aligned with our renewed intention and skills. Our greatest skill comes as we learn how to let go and a) do what we have to do, or b) sit with what is and contemplate the changes we’re experiencing.

Many want to stay busy while the old is dying, but I’ve found that when it’s time to do, then do, but when it’s time to BE, sit still in the moment. Sometimes there’s nothing to do; during those times it’s better to go inward and examine what is no longer true, good, or useful in our lives, and gracefully let go of old habits and ways of living, feeling, and thinking. This is especially necessary when our lives are fragmenting, or a chapter is ending. While honoring the endings, we must also remember to embrace the beginnings.

This world is about passages. One of the great Truths of human existence is that all forms pass away, and through these changes we learn detachment, compassion, discernment, and positivity. At some point, once we are spiritually mature we naturally set aside the superficial disconnected realizations of our spiritual childhood and adolescence and see Life as the wholeness that it is.

Our growth from lesser to greater awareness is a continuum, where each turn of the wheel of time leads us into a new chapter of life. Each new field and focus we confront holds elements of the past and introduces new factors of growth in our ongoing process of Self-realization. To live is to grow, and throughout our life the lesser must always give way to the greater. As our growth is infinite and eternal, we have nothing to fear from the voids, or any sense of “not knowing.” These forms of “emptiness,” which show us a new potential, will always be filled.

When old parts of our lives pass, we are able to attract more fulfilling experiences than we've known before if we turn to the new rather than cling to the old. When we confront a void after something ends, we can consciously shape our attraction to align with our heart’s desire, without being distracted by old echoes of perceptions of memories of perceptions of memories of perceptions of memories of...

Each planet in our chart represents an important part of our personality and how we relate to ourselves, others, and “All That Is.” When we leave old planetary behavior patterns behind, we are able to choose new responses which are better for our evolved Self’s evolution. And because the future is always in the making, here and now, the times of change open many doors which we get to explore as we need.

At this time humanity is going through many types of individual and collective “ego deaths.” While many things seem to be ending, by Autumn they will apparently not have ended for a while until it’s clear that they ended and we just beheld the ghosts and echoes of the old era which is no more. While all of this appearing and disappearing may be on the main stage, it’s more important that we remember it’s a productive building period for a future which can’t dominate the stage of life until the old has ended.

So in the midst of the endings, the deaths, the fogs and ghosts which appear and disappear by the hour, embrace that you’re in a new time, with new ideas, new perspectives, and new approaches for what is and will be. Consciousness is eternal; the rest is passing.

Be happy, since each moment is a self-renewing phenomenon. Have no fear as you leave the past behind, moving and grooving through the intersections of Fate St. and Free Will St. on Eternity Boulevard, watching the strange scenes inside the gold mine. Nothing is real except the Love we all are, forever and a day.
