Resurrection: Redo. Reveal. Restore. Remember

Resurrection: Redo. Reveal. Restore. Remember

In this article we are going to talk about the meaning and ramifications of Resurrection and I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.

Resurrection Is More Than A Religious Concept

When people hear the word Resurrection, they often immediately think of Jesus' resurrection three days after his death on the cross some two thousand years ago. But resurrection is actually a neutral word that refers to many things. For example, “There has been a great resurrection in interest among young people in the fashion of the 1980s” or “the attempt to resurrect interest in rebuilding the old theater failed.”

Resurrection belongs to the many words starting with RE, meaning a return to something by doing it again — redo, remember, revise, reveal, redecide, restore, return, reinvent, repeat, repay, refresh, recalibrate, respond, reform, and more. To resurrect is to go back and re-experience, bring back, maybe change or freshen something.

Why Resurrect?

We resurrect because we feel something still holds value. It might serve again, bring back a better approach, or recover what was lost. Sometimes it is because it could be fun again, like retro fashions or old movies. But no one would resurrect outdated, useless things like pony express or whale blubber lamps.

Resurrecting Life Itself

What if we could resurrect a life-changing, transformative approach to life itself — something forgotten and lost in time? What if bringing it back would be easy yet so controversial people might even be harmed for talking about it?

Jesus was a man who fully understood he was Consciousness temporarily expressing as a man. He knew everything he experienced through senses was consciousness in temporary form. He recognized his persona was impermanent, but the essence was eternal and infinite — a hallmark of enlightenment.

Teachings of Jesus on Resurrection

Jesus taught alignment with Spirit through parables and example. Two key teachings were: “Watch me and learn how I am being,” and “Everything I can do you can do, even better.” His famous resurrection after three days symbolized not just rising from the dead, but resurrecting life itself — a daily process we all are here to do but often forget.

Alignment and Entropy

Think of alignment like car wheels aligned with the road for smooth travel. Over time, entropy (disorder) causes wheels to misalign — similarly, distractions, trauma, and difficulties cause us to lose alignment with Spirit. When misaligned, the ride is bumpy and slow.

Resurrecting life means realigning with Spirit, restoring the smooth ride. This requires belief in Spirit and experience of connection. When aware, we communicate with everything around us, realizing all is Spirit in a living dance.

How To Resurrect Alignment

  1. Believe Spirit exists — without belief, alignment is impossible.
  2. Experience Spirit directly through awareness and sensing the world.
  3. Recognize that Spirit is in everything — no exceptions — and align yourself with it.

This resurrection of alignment may need to happen many times a day until it becomes permanent. There is no death to resurrect from — just the simple act of recognition.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to resurrect Spirit in everything by acknowledging and waking it up. Jesus’ resurrection was about resurrecting all life, not just his body. Everyone is designed to do this.

Enjoy being an avatar of this divine dance.
