Mercury Retrograde Conjunct Sun and Mars.

We have some very important things going on right now! Hang in there, since the delays will soon end and things will begin to move forward.

This big news is that from now through Sunday, October 10, we have Mercury retrograde conjunct Sun and Mars which are conjunct each other! The eye of the Libra hurricane begins today with Sun conjunct Mars at 16 Libra, beginning a new Mars cycle lasting until their next Conjunction at 26 Scorpio in November 2023. This is immediately followed by the Inferior Conjunction on February 9 and Mercury RX conjunct Mars the same day both at 17 Libra!

Because of the Mercury RX quality of these conjunctions, you can bet that a) things from the past will continue to come back up these next 2 years, and b) these will be directly related to coming Mercury retrograde periods. This retrograde is a review of how well we’re able to alternate between “hard power” and “soft power,” while these conjunctions are related to repair, reconstruction, retirement, and peaceful contemplation of dramas long past.

This Mercury retrograde requires we adjust and recalibrate our responses, using delays productively, and being moderate during the Sun, Mercury retrograde, and Mars all in mid-Libra. We’re reviewing and rethinking a lot during this time. I’ve had delightful returns, terrible returns, and sad signals through indirect sources far away. Again, retire from the drama, or see how and why you had to retire from some dramas in the past related to the people who are coming back up on your radar screen.

The intensity of the multiple conjunctions is happening right now, so slow down, be moderate in your responses, but cut the cord if necessary since some of this is old business which needs completion. The New Moon and Mars were all quincunx Uranus, indicating a lot of sacrifices and adjustments through early November. Now that Venus is in Sagittarius, Saturn is again the final dispositor for all planets except Neptune. When Saturn goes direct on October 10, it’s off to the Cosmic Mutation races for all of us! October 11-14 finishes the coming week with Mercury quincunx Uranus, Venus sextile Saturn, and the Sun quincunx Neptune.

Larger Forces Shifting at this Time

Pluto’s just gone stationary direct, marking widespread sea changes in our affected areas related to our “transcendent security” on the threshold of new individual, mental, and spiritual seeds sprouting through the end of 2021 into 2022. Saturn’s going stationary direct on a degree of “a child born out of the Cosmic Egg,” promising manifestations from Cosmos not “born of a local tradition” and based in all which has not been actualized before now. Jupiter’s also on its stationary degree preparing to go direct, with a theme of “training to pick up and deliver spiritual power.” Clearly we are turning from yesterday to tomorrow and will complete our transfiguration by December!

Since April, Saturn has shown us techniques of direct accomplishment and an acceleration of our evolutionary potential once we have a vision, a plan, and a good time to execute the procedure. As Saturn rules Capricorn and Aquarius, those parts of our chart are where we’ve been reflecting on past Saturn experiences and lessons to find new understanding from different perspectives based in a holistic view. In 2022, Saturn will “make real” what Jupiter has promised this year.
