On Saturday April 20, 2024, Jupiter will come in conjunction (0º angle) with Uranus at exactly 7:27 PM PDT (CA time).

This is one of the most important transits of the whole year. The conjunction itself happens every 14 years, and in Taurus, only once in a lifetime. This aspect will be felt for at least 2 weeks, during which we should take advantage of its influence for long-lasting effects.

Unexpected opportunities for higher education or travel, unconventional insights, unusual developments, sudden breakthroughs, unpredictable actions, unorthodox religious views, and changes beyond our control open unforeseen horizons leading to memorable events. We are outgrowing the past in such a way that we shall never ever perceive what came before in the same light, with the same attitude, or even return to former conditions. Advantages come through unsuspected sources leading to the introduction of progressive methods and modern techniques. We could be offered sophisticated equipment, receive an exciting invitation or an interesting financial offer.

A certain restlessness, a rebelliousness, a dislike of all forms of conventionality, a resistance towards ordinary business procedures, the rejection of a limited understanding of life or traditional religious beliefs permeate the atmosphere. The established way of doing things just doesn’t work anymore. This transit brings the need for a new political philosophy and long overdue reforms.

We seek freedom and adventure. Asserting strong individualistic opinions with confidence, making independent decisions, demonstrating originality, and engaging in daring actions lead to beneficial changes. We are encouraged to believe in the highest best in ourselves, and have faith in our ability to achieve our own visions. Selling ourselves short would only result in wasting a valuable chance to grow, and expand our life, yet, we should beware of rushing too impulsively into a new venture promising great riches that we think will change our life, only to realize that we went way too far, way too soon.

A strong sense of belonging to humanity as a whole, a fascination with faraway places, and a great generosity towards those who are working on unusual, worthwhile projects, stimulate us to greater heights.

People with little integrity may try to twist the law to their selfish advantage, or mislead us by distorting the truth. They may also promote out-of-balance beliefs that are extremely scary. More than ever should we be careful around sects, or unusual cults. Required to keep our idealism in check, demonstrate common sense, and temper our enthusiasm, we should trust our first impressions, seek to gain new information, endeavor to learn surprising facts, and act on our intuitions. Unhampered by traditional logic or the established way of doing things, our higher mind is being awakened.

This transit is fabulous for buying new appliances or purchasing a car. It is also excellent for any form of promotion, advertising or publicity. We are likely to be drawn to traveling to an unusual place off the beaten path, a location that will change our perception of the world, that we shall return different from or may even choose not to return from at all! Studying any topic that broadens and enriches our consciousness is very much favored. We are likely to make dynamic, new friends from all cultures and walks of life who become catalysts of transformation.

Any venture started today creates big changes with far-reaching beneficial consequences. Keeping in mind that literally anything can happen today and in the couple of weeks to come, the more positive, adaptable, flexible, and open to the unknown we are, the more exciting this transit will be.
