August 2025 Tarotscope: Channelled Guidance for Every Zodiac Sign
There's a subtle shift in the air as August unfolds-a mixture of golden sunlight and quiet longing, a sense that something is ending and something else is quietly blooming.
Whether you're dancing through the summer or feeling the first hints of autumn in your heart, the tarot cards have messages just for you.
Here's your tarotscope: a channelled reading for each sign, crafted to guide you gently along your August path. Let these words be a friend, a mirror, and a small dose of magic for the month ahead.
Aries
Card: The Sun
August greets you with warmth, Aries. This is the month to let yourself shine without apology. The Sun card says: stop downplaying your dreams or hiding your weird, wild joy. You're being called to share your gifts, especially in spaces where you once felt too much. If you've struggled with self-doubt or burnout, expect a burst of clarity and energy mid-month. Say yes to invitations. Let your laughter break any old spell. You're the light in someone's life-don't forget it.
Taurus
Card: Four of Pentacles
Security is on your mind, Taurus, and that's okay. But the Four of Pentacles reminds you not to grip too tightly to what you have. Scarcity thinking can keep you stuck, especially if you're afraid of change. This August, try loosening your hold: give a little, splurge a little, say yes to something that feels just outside your comfort zone. Notice how abundance grows when you're willing to trust the flow. Your roots are strong, but don't be afraid to stretch.
Gemini
Card: The Lovers
August brings you back to yourself, Gemini-but through connection. The Lovers card is about choice, yes, but also about healing through relationships (romantic, platonic, or even with yourself). This month, notice how your heart opens when you let your guard down. Old wounds may resurface, but so can old joys. Let conversations go deeper than usual. The universe is nudging you toward a decision-what will you choose, and will you choose it with love?
Cancer
Card: Queen of Cups
You're the ocean, Cancer-deep, mysterious, and a little bit wild. The Queen of Cups invites you to honor your intuition and your feelings without judgment. If you've been caring for everyone else, August is the month to refill your own cup. Creative projects, spiritual rituals, or simply long baths and daydreaming are potent medicine now. Don't be afraid to say no if you need solitude. There's wisdom in your softness, and healing in your boundaries.
Leo
Card: Strength
This is your season, Leo, and the Strength card crowns your month. But this isn't about brute force or bravado-it's about leading with your heart. If challenges arise, meet them with patience and compassion. Your natural charisma is magnetic; use it to lift others, not just yourself. If you've been doubting your purpose, trust that your presence is enough. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is show up as your truest self.
Virgo
Card: The Hermit
You're craving quiet this August, Virgo. The Hermit suggests you need time to reflect, recharge, and realign. Don't be afraid to say no to noisy plans or step back from obligations that drain you. This is a sacred pause-a chance to listen to your own wisdom, to journal, meditate, or simply walk in nature. By month's end, you'll know what needs to change and what deserves your devotion. Trust the answers that come in silence.
Libra
Card: Two of Swords
You're at a crossroads, Libra, and the Two of Swords asks you to make a choice. If you've been waffling, people-pleasing, or avoiding the truth, August brings a gentle push. Take off the blindfold. Listen to your gut. You don't need to see the whole path-just the next step. If you're stuck between head and heart, trust the wisdom in your body. Peace comes when you choose, even if it's imperfect.
Scorpio
Card: DeathDon't flinch, Scorpio. The Death card is your ally, not your enemy. August asks you to release what's old, toxic, or simply finished. This could be a belief, a habit, or even a relationship that no longer serves you. Trust that endings are openings in disguise. If you feel the urge to clean, purge, or say goodbye, honor it. On the other side of this clearing, a new chapter waits-one that's more honest, more you.
Sagittarius
Card: Knight of Wands
Adventure calls, Sagittarius! The Knight of Wands is restless, bold, and just a little bit reckless. If you've felt cooped up or uninspired, August brings an opportunity to break free. This could be travel, a new creative project, or simply shaking up your daily routine. Don't overthink it-sometimes the soul just wants to run. Let passion lead, but check in with your heart before you leap. Not every fire needs to burn down the house.
Capricorn
Card: Eight of Pentacles
You're in the zone, Capricorn-focused, determined, and building something real. The Eight of Pentacles is the craftsman's card: it's about refining your skills, taking pride in your work, and knowing that mastery comes through steady effort. If you've felt overlooked, keep going. Recognition will find you. This is a month for laying foundations, whether in career, health, or personal goals. Your diligence is your magic. Don't forget to celebrate small wins.
Aquarius
Card: The Star
Hope returns, Aquarius. The Star brings renewal, healing, and the sense that you're finally stepping out of a long, strange tunnel. If you've been weighed down by uncertainty or grief, August offers a fresh perspective. Dream big, and don't be afraid to share your visions with others. Your openness is a beacon-let it inspire your community. If you can, spend time under the actual stars; let the night sky remind you of the vastness of possibility.
Pisces
Card: Page of Cups
Your heart is wide open this month, Pisces, and the Page of Cups says: let yourself be surprised. Messages, synchronicities, and creative sparks are everywhere if you're willing to notice them. This is a time for new friendships, gentle romances, and spiritual discoveries. Approach each day with childlike wonder. If a dream tugs at your sleeve, follow it. You're more intuitive than ever-trust what you feel, and let tenderness guide you.
Final Blessing
No matter your sign, August is a threshold-a chance to soften, to release, to risk blooming in new ways. The cards remind us that self-trust, courage, and a willingness to listen are all you need to carry you forward. May this month bring you clarity, comfort, and the kind of beauty that lingers long after summer's gone.
Wishing you a luminous August, wherever your path leads.

What Is Tarot Astrology? Open or Close
Tarot astrology is the system through which a reading of the cards in a tarot deck help you through troubled times by offering a reflection on your past, present and future. Tarot is closely associated with astrology as each card relates to a planet, element, or astrological sign.
Tarot cards are used for divination, often known as fortune telling. But, many psychologists have used them as well, feeling that the cards often make patients delve in to how they feel about themselves. This is done through the subconscious. For example, let’s say you know work is not going well, but you do not allow yourself to think about it. Getting a tarot card reading that shows you need to change occupations is not really telling your future so much as it is making you face what is really going on in your life.

The Tarot (pronounced tair-row) is a combination of teachings that reflect the aspects of life, a symbolic "book of life" in the form of pictures that can be read or meditated on from "cover to cover". It can also be opened randomly for insights to issues. As a source of information, it is actually a channel by which pictures bring the situation to light and explain what caused it to occur. Those same pictures depict how the situation is being played out as well as the predicted outcome when placed in "spreads" of various patterns. That outcome will be in accordance to the choices that have currently been made by the client as well as outside influences which they have little or no control over. The Querrent (person asking the question), needs to be informed of this so they understand that they have free will and can apply it if they so choose. The Tarot is informative, enlightening, and it's accurate.

When I began reading the Tarot Decks back in 1973, I used the traditional readings. Later on, I studied Carl Jung and his analysis of using Tarot for the study of emotional and mental problems. The many students in my area were using the Major Arcana of Tarot Cards to do the analysis. After many years, I have finally discovered a mannerism to use the entire Tarot Deck for the ‘Healing Intuitive Reading’. In this reading, we examine five planes of health in a being. The heart and blood, the liver, pancreas, adrenals and kidneys, thymus, immune system and finally, the brain, are examined.
