Sometimes it feels like the challenges we face are unique to us and nobody else.

This feeling of “aloneness” is an illusion that we need to get past in order to evolve into who we were meant to be.

The prayer below from Ancient Egypt not only contains a roadmap to inner peace and enlightenment... it also shows us that human beings have been trying for millennia to free themselves from the same inner turmoil that we still struggle with today.

I hope this lights something up inside you, as it did for me :)

Hail to you, Osiris, Lord of eternity,
Whose heart is calm amidst the chaos of the world.
You who have passed through the trials of death and rebirth,
Teach us the secrets of serenity and inner balance.

Grant us the strength to navigate life's challenges,
And the wisdom to find peace amidst the storms.
May our hearts be as light as a feather,
Free from the burdens that weigh us down.

O Ptah, creator and sustainer of all things,
Guide us on the path of Ma'at, the divine order.
Help us align our thoughts, words, and actions,
That we may walk in harmony and find inner peace.

In the embrace of Hathor, the loving mother,
May we find solace and comfort in her nurturing arms.
Grant us the sweetness of her music,
And let it soothe our troubled hearts.

O Thoth, the wise and eloquent,
Unveil the mysteries of inner tranquility.
Illuminate our minds with your divine knowledge,
That we may find clarity amidst confusion.

As we stand before the sacred flame,
May its light dispel the shadows of doubt and fear.
May it ignite the fire of peace within us,
And fill our beings with its gentle warmth.
