How to Pray: Sometimes People Ask Me

How to Pray: Sometimes People Ask Me

I was taught to pray by a special angel called Angel Amen when I was about four years old.

Hello to all my beautiful friends. I am praying for you all, always.

Sometimes people ask me how to pray. Let me start by telling you how I learned to pray as a young child.

I was taught to pray by a special angel called Angel Amen when I was about four years old. At the time, I only knew her as "the special angel of prayer."

Angel Amen would come to my room and sit on my bed with crossed legs to teach me how to pray. She always gave the appearance of a beautiful young woman with long, honey-blonde curls. My curly hair had been cut off shortly before I met Angel Amen, so I was always impressed by her hair.

Her dress was made of an embroidered cream fabric, like a fine silk, and the embroidery created beautiful patterns. Even now, I have no idea what these patterns may symbolize. Angel Amen's dress came in at the waist and the skirt was very full and fell to her ankles. The sleeves of the dress were long and wide.

Angel Amen would never come if there was anyone else in my bedroom. I shared the room with my sister, Emer, who was two years older than me. Angel Amen mostly came when I was in bed and ready for sleep, but sometimes she appeared during the day when I was playing in the room on my own.

She taught me how to pray to God using my normal everyday words. Sometimes she would tell me to close my eyes and other times she would tell me to look at her. She taught me a particular form of meditative prayer where I pray with every particle of my body and soul. This is very intensive and deep prayer, and since I was a child I have prayed like this for some time every day. Sometimes it's just for a few minutes, and sometimes it's longer. When I pray like this, it's as if time has no meaning and I feel tremendous joy.

Angel Amen also taught me how to have my soul in constant prayer, even when I am doing something else. Even now, as I am writing this, I am praying for things I have been asked to pray for. It's a bit hard to explain how I can be doing both at the same time. But I am.

Angel Amen taught me some special prayers that she told me I was never to share with anyone. It's very strange, but I seem to have forgotten these prayers as I've grown older. I know that Angel Amen has hidden them from me.

I know everyone can learn how to pray, and if you ask Angel Amen, she will help you.

Love and blessings to you all,
Lorna

Lorna Byrne is an international number 1 bestselling author (her last two books have gone straight in at #1 on the UK Sunday Times Chart) with more than a million readers around the world. Her books, Angels in my Hair, Stairways to Heaven, A Message of Hope from the Angels and Love from Heaven have been translated into 30 languages.
Lorna has been seeing angels since she was a baby. Very unusually, she sees angels physically with as much clarity as the rest of us see people and she sees them every day. This diminutive, soft-spoken, uneducated Irish woman who did not talk about what she was seeing until seven years ago, says she has no idea why she can see angels when others can’t, adding that she is just an ordinary person.
