You’ve probably heard the saying “As above so below.” Well, that is the law of correspondence in a nut shell. This law asserts that everything we say or think is reflected in our physical world, and that especially applies to what we say and think with feeling. This law is directly allied with The Law of Divine Oneness, as it is because of the Oneness that we have the correspondence.

As within so without could also be said about this law. Based on the Law of Correspondence, our outer world is a projection of our inner world. This applies to us as individuals and our group consciousness, as well and is expressed in the consciousness of towns, cities, countries and the entire population of the planet. In other words, our condition is a reflection of our inner state, and the circumstances of a town, a city, a country and our planet are all reflections of the group consciousness of their inhabitants. If the majority of our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs are positive, the majority of the events and people in our life will be positive. In other words, the events and people in our life (our outer world) will correspond with our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs (our inner world). On the other hand, if we continually complain and entertain negative thoughts and negative feelings, our experiences – and the people we encounter – will be a projection of those thoughts and feelings.

Practical Practices to Align with The Law of Correspondence

Our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and actions need to be in alignment with what we want to achieve. For example, if we want to be healthy, we need to embrace healthy thoughts and have healthy eating habits. Those who are looking for a new relationship of some sort need to maintain pleasant thoughts that create a vibration in their energy field reminiscent of the kind of relationship they’re seeking. If it’s wealth an individual is seeking, they need to maintain a clear vision of what wealth means to them and more importantly, the feeling of being wealthy. In other words, they would need to be that to have that. They need to maintain a state of being as if they had the desire fulfilled.

To create what we want in life we need to be diligent about focusing our thoughts on what we want and avoiding thoughts to the contrary. Negative thoughts like worry can be used as a trigger that alerts us to switch to positive thoughts about what we want to manifest in our life rather than worry.
