3 Universal Truths of Human Existence
Category: Alchemy Written by Robert Wilkinson

There are three great Truths for all of us on Earth. Remembering them can help us navigate many difficult circumstances with grace, awareness, inner equilibrium, and a sense of how things really are, apart from appearances and opinions. These are a true sanctuary for any storm we encounter.
I've published these over the years, and since it's been over 3 years since I last offered them, I figured it would be good to post them anew. These Truths are eternal and a blessing to all who keep these precepts in their hearts and minds.
I originally found them in what is said to be one of the oldest books on the planet, the venerable "Light On The Path." As was written in the Introduction about 100 years ago, "…the first form in which we see it is smaller yet. It is a palm leaf manuscript, old beyond computation; so old that even before the time of Christ men had already forgotten its date and the name of its writer, and regarded its origin as lost in the mists of prehistoric antiquity."
It was translated from Senzar into Sanskrit, then from Sanskrit into Greek at the time of the Alexandrian mystery schools, and from Greek into English in 1885. I have read and re-read this work countless times in over 30 years, and with each reading I understand its wisdom in a new light. When you're done here, please consider taking a new look at this masterwork via the link I provided in the previous paragraph.
For your consideration, from "Light On The Path,"
"Regard the three truths. They are equal. These written above are the first of the rules which are written on the walls of the Hall of Learning. Those that ask shall have. Those that desire to read shall read. Those who desire to learn shall learn."
"There are Three Truths which are absolute, and cannot be lost, but yet may remain silent for lack of speech.
"The soul of man is immortal, and its future is the future of a thing whose growth and splendour has no limit.
"The principle which gives life dwells in us, and without us, is undying and eternally beneficent, is not heard, or seen, or smelt, but is perceived by the man who desires perception.
"Each man is his own absolute law-giver, the dispenser of glory or gloom to himself; the decreer of his life, his reward, his punishment.
"These Truths, which are as great as is life itself, are as simple as the simplest mind of man. Feed the hungry with them."
Aum and blessings.
