Feng Shui and Candle Magic

Feng Shui and Candle MagicFeng Shui is not a religious practice or a belief but in its simplest form is the art of placing or arranging objects within a space, so that they are pleasing to you and naturally support you within the context of that space.

A key principle of Feng Shui is that everything is connected energetically. This means that your thoughts and feelings, even your behavior, are strongly influenced by your surroundings. At the same time, the state of your home reflects your mood and attitude. A dark, untidy bedroom, for example, contributes to an atmosphere of fatigue and depression, which in turn makes it harder for you to find the energy to clean the place up and air it out. In Feng Shui terms, it is also undermining your ability to attract and maintain a joyful and supportive romantic attachment.

It’s important to remember that Feng Shui involves all the senses. Bad smells of any kind are a form of sha chi (negative energy), and should be corrected immediately-whether that’s a simple task like taking out the trash more frequently or as extensive an effort as tearing out and replacing the funky old carpeting throughout your home. The emotional impact of aromas can be very powerful.

It takes little thought or time to place a few candles randomly around a room. And generally, this is enough to suffice. But the key to feeling of coziness and romance is in the details that act upon the subconscious, subtly influencing feelings and choices, which should always include candles.

Candles can be widely used in Feng Shui applications even just to enhance the feel of a place. The colors of the candles have a great significance. One could just place candles of red and yellow, which are harbingers of prosperity and happiness. When we place them at Southwest or northeast, they form an awesome combination of Fire and earth energy and if the candles are aroma based they not only add to the enhancement of the sector but do create a positive feel in the persons mind strengthening his affirmation. These combinations in multiples of three when allowed to float in water contained in a metal container with some fresh flowers strewn are excellent enhancers and not just create a visual delight but bring together the supportive elements in one place. Placing such a set up close to the entry of a home brings in positive chi and creates an atmosphere of serenity.

For those seeking suitable partners or strengthening their relationships, placing a pair of bright red aroma candles at the southwest corner would ensure excellent relationship and luck in romance. One could even light it for a while in the evening to “jump start” and re-connect relationships.

Candles are used even to enhance wealth luck and prosperity. Placing purple aroma candles at the southeast corner symbolizes strengthening wealth luck. And blue candles placed in the north jazz up career luck. The candles need not be lit but the effect of the color and the fragrance at the right sector imbues the relevant aspiration.
