The Lunar Eclipse is here!

The good news is that by later this evening, we will finally be at the end of this first Eclipse season of the year! There is still some intensity to come later in the week, but the feeling of being emotionally tightly compressed, will ease a little over the next few days! 

However, right now we are steeped in this Full Moon Eclipse energy, and our surfacing fears and insecurities can get played out in our relationships. It’s easy to either fake bravado and pretend we are a happy little island on our own, or grip tightly onto relationships that are neither genuine nor fulfilling, for fear of being alone.  

Power is a strong force right now in all interactions, both collectively and personally, and it requires us to own and stand in our own power. Personal honesty and authenticity, is a key requirement to avoid feeling either disempowered, or overpowered within ourselves and in our relationships.  

A regular self-nurturing practice is essential to help self-regulate and self-soothe ourselves amidst these intense energies. This can include: meditation, yoga, journalling, gardening, singing, dancing, chanting, swimming, tai chi, painting…+ don’t underestimate the immense value of chatting to a friend, if you are feeling overwhelmed and alone!
