There Are Few Wounds as Piercing as the One Left by Someone Who Claimed to Carry the Light—and Instead, Dimmed Yours

Over the years, I’ve walked beside many beautiful, awakened souls whose paths were rerouted by the very people they trusted most. Teachers, channels, coaches, or guides who promised healing, wisdom, and belonging… and instead created confusion, dependency, or energetic harm.

Sometimes it begins gently—with a dazzling light, powerful words, and the feeling that someone finally “sees” you. But over time, something shifts. Your inner knowing is bypassed. You begin to feel disconnected from yourself, like you’re always reaching for answers that never fully land.

And instead of becoming stronger, you become smaller. Drained. Doubtful of your own intuition.

This is the shadow side of spiritual awakening that few speak about.

But it’s one we must name if we are to heal it.

When the Light Isn’t What It Seems

False light is seductive because it mimics truth—it speaks the right words, activates spiritual language, and often radiates a high vibration on the surface. But beneath it lies control, subtle gaslighting, and the erosion of self-trust.

I’ve witnessed the aftermath firsthand. Beautiful souls who come to me after years spent under the influence of a “guru” or group that once felt like home… now left unraveling the fragments of their energy field, their confidence, and sometimes, their lives.

And it’s not just new seekers. I’ve worked with seasoned lightworkers—gifted souls who’ve been walking this path for decades—who still found themselves entangled in the illusion because it entered at a moment of vulnerability.

It’s not weakness. It’s openness. And that openness deserves protection—not exploitation.

You Were Never Meant to Give Away Your Power

The truth is, no one is meant to be your ultimate guide.

Not me. Not anyone.

Every true teacher, healer, or channel is simply a mirror—reminding you of what you already carry. And anything that asks you to override your inner truth, abandon your instincts, or become dependent on someone else for “alignment”… is not light.

Real light doesn’t demand your loyalty.

It invites your liberation.

In all of my offerings, I always remind those I work with your inner compass is sacred.

If something doesn’t resonate—even if I say it—leave it. You are the only true authority over your soul.

Healing After Spiritual Betrayal

Healing from this kind of betrayal requires a very different approach than traditional trauma work. Why? Because the wound isn’t just emotional—it’s energetic. It lives in the auric field, in the chakras, in the soul record.

Spend Time in Nature to Recalibrate

The natural world holds the original frequency of Source. Let it remind you of your original blueprint. Lay on the earth. Speak to the trees. Reconnect with what has never abandoned you.

Affirm Your Sovereignty

Speak simple truths aloud, like:

• “I release all energies that are not mine.”
• “I trust the wisdom of my soul.”
• “I do not need to understand everything to begin healing.”

Even the act of claiming your energy with your own voice is a powerful beginning.

If the Weight Feels Too Heavy, You Don’t Have to Carry It Alone

You don’t need another guru.

You don’t need to give your power away again.

The healing you seek lives within you.

And your soul—despite everything—is still speaking.

For many, the journey back to self can begin with a single breath, a single boundary, a single truth spoken aloud. And that’s more than enough.

But I also know…

Sometimes the damage left behind by false light runs deep.

Sometimes the energetic entanglements feel too dense, too confusing, too heavy to sort through on your own.
