Your loved one might be gone in the flesh and blood, but they are still there spiritually. They are not dead. 

Hello to all my beautiful friends. I am praying for you all, always.

I'm going to talk to you today about finding peace within yourself after losing someone you love. Someone who has gone home to heaven.

That's very hard for each and every one of us. Finding that peace to be able to cope with losing a loved one can be very, very hard because a lot of people in the world kind of shy away when we know someone has lost a loved one. We forget to ask them how they are coping.

We don't want to hurt them by bringing up their loved one, but have you ever thought about how important it is to talk about their loved one? Because when a person is grieving, sometimes they find it very hard to talk. And at times they may feel that all the people around them don't mention their loved one anymore at all.

They might think to themselves, "I can't tell my friends or my family how I'm coping, because they'll think I'm weak." But you are not weak.

Accepting that your loved one has gone home to heaven is the biggest part of it.

They are gone in the flesh and blood, but they are still there spiritually. They are not dead, and you can feel their presence at different times through your life, and that's one thing you must always remember.

Maybe five years later or so, you might realize that you've stopped grieving in the way you were grieving before, and then, all of a sudden something reminds you of them and makes you smile. That's the soul of your loved one around you, helping you in your life.

The acceptance that your loved one has gone home to heaven, I think that's the hardest part for each and every one of us. When you lose someone you love— a mother or father, brother or sister, a child or grandparent, or maybe even your best friend— you must accept that they're no longer here in the flesh and blood, because that's the part we miss the most.

We miss their smile. We miss hearing their voice. We miss going for a walk with them, and driving around in the car. We miss them calling over to us and saying hello.

You miss the everyday, ordinary things about your loved one, and that's the hardest thing to accept. You can't hug them anymore because it's not physical anymore. I always ask God and the angels to help all of us to understand that the soul of your loved one has gone straight to heaven.

And the most incredible thing is that God allows that soul, anytime the soul wants, to be in and around you to help you through the grief.

We should not dismiss our loved one who has passed. We have to accept that loss, that pain and hurt that's literally, for some of us, ripping our hearts out and shredding us, making us cry and burst into tears. We have to accept that our loved one is gone physically, so we can let them go.

But you never really let them go because— I love this part— your loved one is a spiritual being. They are a spark of light of God, a soul just like you are, and they can be in and around you at any time, helping to guide you. And they love you dearly.
