We have Sun conjunct Saturn over the next three days, illuminating the new Aquarian structures set into motion at the Grand Mutation at 1 Aquarius.

As you know, each year Mercury, Venus, and the Sun conjunct Saturn. When they do, each brings a new quality to Saturn, and each takes away a new lesson from Saturn as they launch a new year cycle.

This year, Mercury was the first to conjunct both the Grand Mutation degree as well as Saturn. At 3 Aquarius, it indicates the new Mercury/Saturn cycle will bring signs, signals and information related to a progressive view of the need to step out of certain socialized roles and claim our individuality.

Now the Sun has crossed the Grand Mutation degree, crossed the Mercury/Saturn degree, and conjuncts Saturn at 5 Aquarius, illuminating and powering up the themes of 1, 3, and 5 Aquarius! It has now vitalized and given Light/Life to the great vision of 1 Aquarius, the individualization of 3 Aquarius, and the reliance on the wisdom of our “spiritual ancestry.” At this Sun conjunct Saturn, we’re definitely awash in the idea and the Light of Aquarius! This illuminates the Aquarian structure we're building.

Venus will be the final inner planet to conjunct Saturn in Aquarius. In February Venus will cross 1, 3, and 5 Aquarius, bringing its value and refinement to those cycles, and renew its yearly cycle with Saturn at 6 Aquarius. This one promises conflict from increasing pressure to “preside over our Mystery Ritual,” leading us into the emotional-social level of our Aquarian contribution to be made. As the Venus conjunction exactly squares Uranus, I’d say things will come to some sort of acute focus in early February!

Mercury’s conjunction with Saturn and Pluto “brought us the news.” The Sun’s conjunction will allow us to “see the Light” of the meaning and purpose of this conjunction over the next year. Venus will help us find value and pleasing form to all these Aquarian cycles set into motion at this time. As the idea becomes alive, value the beauty in what you've found up to now, since it holds a promise for the entire year in the house(s) where you have the first 6 degrees of Aquarius!
