Tonight I’ve seen with eyes clearer than before.

This afternoon I played out a scenario in my head which was very familiar to me, old but familiar. It hadn’t come around for quite sometime and but was there again nonetheless.

The repeating scenario began with me seeking help outside of myself.Calling up to the heavens and all the unseen worlds to hear and answer me directly. A desperate cycle that quickly spins around and turns into feelings of abandonment and blame.

For why have they not answered me and come promptly to my aid? 

But tonight it’s come through so clearly. I’ve finally seen that just as quickly as I’ve reached for help and answers to be delivered from outside of myself, I’ve forgone my own power, and thus projected myself into powerlessness.

There’s no lesson learned if the answer had arrived this way. And that’s not to say it hasn’t come at other times through this avenue – from my guides and angels. It usually does. But it seems in times that I’ve felt I’ve needed it most desperately it (seemingly) doesn’t arrive.

But that’s usually when I’ve missed the point.

I’ve thrown away my power and left myself writhing, limp in desperate whimpers, pleading to be heard.

But I’m the one who hasn’t heard.

And I am the one who hasn’t answered.

It’s in times that we’ve forgone our power, that we see the power in all others. It’s these times that we’ve extended the finger of blame – (for we cannot possibly be to blame when we are so powerless). But we’ve not seen our own projection into powerlessness, because all we’ve seen is the blame. 

A blinding flash of insight from within whispered in the night…

Why not extend outward only gratitude and thanks,
and reach within for the help you so desire.
For it is in reaching inward that you connect back into your power,
which needs no help at all.

It’s in seeking that which you desire from inside of yourself, that you’ve finally answered your own call.

You’ve called upon your power to do the saving. 

And only then do we fall into inner peace and outward gratitude. For in that moment we truly hear ourselves, and see what has gone overlooked for so long. It’s in that moment we become the one who calls for help, and then answers that same call. 

Which is what we’ve longed for the whole time.

The apparent non-answer from above was assisting me all along. And I know this night, what seemed like a dark night, has come because it’s time and I was ready. It was time for me to find my power, which was within me through it all, yet had been left for dead by nobody else but yours truly.

And if you’re reading this then it’s your time also. For when a time comes for one, it comes for many.

So a helpful question becomes;

Where is your power now? Who have you placed in charge of your life?

Are other’s past or present, physical or unseen at fault for the conditions of your life? For the feelings that you hold?

I’m not sure there’s anyone that answers a definitive no to this question every time. We all give away our power from time to time, and that’s okay. Because anytime you realise is a sheer moment of awareness, which lights up the sky for you to find your way back. Your way back to you.

So it’s time to call it back. Reclaim your power, and realise what you really are. 

What we all are.
