Card #40 | Pleiades (Past, 1st Era) | Stubbornness

When we shared the annual card reading for 2026 in a public session, we stated that you were likely to have a challenging year as a mass consciousness. The cards of the last few months certainly reflect that, and this month is no exception. Last month, we mentioned that the polarity that is heightened in your world is coming from a deep resistance to change, even though the wave of change is unavoidable. This wave of change is coming, and all of you can feel it, whether consciously or unconsciously.

This card of Stubbornness references a time in the Pleiadian civilization when they were in the later stages of their first era, or their species childhood, and just beginning their shift into 4th density. During that time, they truly felt that their good intentions could be forced upon another to bring positive change, and they were unwilling to see their own shadows and patterns of projection. This egoic focus is typical of civilizations who are on the brink of experiencing a collective transmutation of consciousness. When the shift starts, the resistance is massive. The ego does not want to let go of control, and it convinces itself that it must push harder to get what it wants. (In the end, “what it wants” often boils down to the desire to arrange reality in a way that makes the ego feel safe and validated, even at the expense of another’s sovereignty).

All around you on Earth, you can see this power struggle arising at an intensity that is magnified. On the surface it looks like a form of toxic bullying in which stronger groups try to dominate smaller or weaker groups. Whereby this worked in the past when you were firmly entrenched in 3rd density, this type of action is starting to create very rapid karmic blowback. Old toxicity is coming to the surface to be released, and yet despite the inevitable necessary purge, there is still an illogical stubbornness that tries to resist. The only way through this is to allow the purge and accept that a change is coming – but strong egos are fighting bitterly.

We have surely described a grim picture, but from a higher perspective we see that this happens in most worlds during their shift to 4th density. Some resist the change strongly and others go with the flow – and everything in between. Your world is on the resistant end of the spectrum, but nowhere near as strong as it was in ancient Orion times.

So, the question becomes, how can each of you work with this stubborn, resistant energy and aid in the new birth that is happening on Earth? We know you know that meeting fire with fire only creates more fire. The solution is a counterintuitive one – what may feel unnatural during a time of chaos is actually what will help shift the energy.

Firstly, as we often do, we will point you to your inner self. As you do your sacred inner work, look within for where you are stubborn or resistant in shifting your own unintegrated or sabotaging patterns. When you see that part of yourself, do not judge, belittle, or criticize it. Remember that it exists in response to fear and old, unhealed beliefs. Connect with the part of yourself that has compassion for the egoic parts of you that are terrified of change. We guarantee that when you have consistent true compassion for that aspect within you, a field of love starts to grow that begins to heal the pattern and assists you to become more courageous and committed to integrity no matter the cost to the ego’s version of reality. You may become aware of the need to make some frightening but necessary choices, whatever the consequences. This is a sign of maturity that can be celebrated as a precursor to an approaching breakthrough.

The leaders and decision-makers of your planet are going to be asked to make some bold new choices that frighten the collective ego, as well as the egos of the power structures. These new choices will go against the old paradigm that is trying to disintegrate the unity field that is now being born. It will take courage and strength to change directions, but as each of you do your inner work to break your own old sabotaging patterns, you give energy and strength to the collective and make it possible for this shift to happen. In that way, you are all in this together. The power for lasting, positive change is in your hands.
