That's how I'm getting through my days.

You probably don't know this about me, but I've had a chronic cough on and off throughout my life.

In the past when a cough got into my lungs it has stayed with me for days, months, or even years.

I've been lucky the past few years keeping it at bay. For the month of March, I have been dealing with a cough every day. It's taught me a lot.

This is certainly a rather frightening time to have a respiratory issue. Yet I've been told time and time again from my Guides to stay calm and focus on the present (and stay home).

In order to feel better, I literally must focus on my breath. This does wonders to keep me grounded in the present. With the breath, there is only the here and now.

I also must practice extreme self-care. (So when you don't see a post or email from me some days, that's why.)

It also has brought me deep deep gratitude. As uncomfortable as I feel, I am so lucky to be able to breathe at all.

I am so grateful for the people staying at home to protect each other. And the people who are working to save lives in the hospitals (so much gratitude). And all the beautiful people who grow, produce and sell our food, and deliver our packages, and produce the things we rely on for a safe and comfortable life.

I am grateful for the technology that can bring us together even when we have to be physically apart.

And I am grateful for you being on this journey with me.
