It happened again. And this time, what I was pulled into was the most extraordinary experience I have had yet.

I found myself being drawn toward a beautiful tree, a tree of such stature and beauty that it took my breath away. It was a rather peculiar and unusual tree, its trunk seemed to be composed of many trunks, all seemingly woven together into a single tapestry, from which the top of the tree was gloriously expanding its branches outward and upward. The tree was lush with leaves that were not ordinary in any sense of the word. They were extraordinary, green emeralds, autumn browns, yellow golds and they shone as if sprinkled with something luminous, illuminated from within.

The tree felt alive in every sense of the word, and as I stood there admiring it suddenly I began to sense presences of some kind that were calling me forward.

I followed a long and winding trail through the lush forest, and as I walked the grass seemed to part before me. The entire forest was alive with consciousness. I felt that there were many watching me from behind the leaves, from behind the trees, welcoming me with a curiosity I can only describe as beloved childlike fascination. I felt them to be tiny creatures, perhaps the size of my hand.

As I contemplated where I was, the trail opened into a clearing. It was spectacular. The grass had literally parted into a perfect circular opening and braided itself exactly the way you would braid hair, perfect, exquisite. And around it, on the edges and inside, were crystals of all kinds, all forms, and all colors.

It was then that I saw her.

A luminous, beautiful presence standing with her back to me. I began to hear a faint melody that grew louder and louder the closer I came, a melody that was foreign to me, yet so very familiar. As the luminous being before me began to turn toward me, the presences I had sensed in the corners of my eyes throughout the forest suddenly made themselves known, stepping forward all around us.

And it was then, as I gazed into her luminous eyes, that I understood. I was standing in the heart of the elemental kingdom. I had been invited into their world. And the being before me was none other than Áine, the Goddess of Summer.

She welcomed me to their beautiful forest, and when I asked why I was there, she explained that she had brought me to this place to announce to all who will listen that wonderful things are coming to Earth. That something magical is about to happen. And alongside this announcement, she asked something of all of us.

She asked us to turn toward nature. To turn toward the elemental kingdom. For those who already work with the elementals, she is asking you to reach out to them now, more than ever. And for those who do not, simply to pay more attention to the natural world. Talk to a flower. Talk to a tree. If you have a plant in your home, speak to your plant. Spend at least a few minutes each day tuned into nature rather than into your phone or screen.

She also shared something that I find a little difficult to put into words, but I will try. The energy arriving on Earth right now is flowing through the trees, through the ground, through everything that grows. I can only describe it as deeply, beautifully fertile. People can partake of it, receive healing through it, and share their own love energy in return. And it is this exchange, she said, that is profoundly healing for us and for the elemental kingdom alike.

She also gave me a short ritual to share with you, something simple you may wish to try during this time leading up to June 21st, as the energy continues to build toward the solstice.

A Ritual for the Days Before the Solstice

You do not need anything special for this. You do not need any prior experience. Simply go outside if you are able, or sit near a window, or place yourself beside any plant or natural element in your home.

Step One: Come to stillness. Take three slow breaths. With each exhale, release whatever the day has placed on you, downward into the earth, which can hold it with ease.

Step Two: Open to receive. Hold your hands softly open, palms facing upward. Imagine gentle channels extending down through your feet into the ground. You are not pulling anything toward you, you are simply becoming still enough to receive what is already rising.

Step Three: Speak your presence. Say these three things, aloud or quietly in your heart: I am here. I am listening. I am grateful. Áine said the elementals do not require elaborate ceremony. Three honest words of genuine presence open more than hours of performed ritual.

Step Four: Offer your love. From the center of your heart, let whatever warmth lives there move outward toward whatever is growing near you. The tree outside. The plant on your shelf. The grass beneath your feet. Simply let it flow, effortlessly, naturally.

Step Five: Receive. Stay in this open exchange for as long as feels right. Some of you will sense something immediately. Others may feel nothing obvious in the moment, and the exchange will have happened regardless. Áine said the receiving does not always announce itself right away we often discover what has shifted only hours or days later.

That is truly all it takes. A few minutes in nature. Your hand on bark or leaf. A few honest words spoken from the heart.

Something beautiful is indeed on its way.

And the elementals are asking us to step outside so we can receive it together.
