Having read a lot about how terrible the current Sun opposed Saturn is supposed to be, I’m here to tell you “it ain’t necessarily so.” This is actually an extraordinarily favorable opposition for several reasons.
First, as I’ve mentioned in previous articles, Jupiter is making very favorable aspects to Saturn through the rest of this year. Right now we have an exact Jupiter quintile Saturn, bringing gifts, blessings, and high specialization to any planets or points we have around 2-6 Pisces, 14-18 Taurus, 26-30 Cancer, 8-12 Libra, and 20-24 Sagittarius.
When we factor in the opposition, which always brings awareness, we see the Sun is on a degree of a technique of discernment helping us get over preconceptions. Add that the Sun is tredecile Jupiter, and there’s a huge factor of serendipity in the air, with that aspect creating an extremely fortunate void in mid-Scorpio. Adding this very lucky interactive “gifts and blessings” type of energy expands the previous field to the opposite signs as well.
With the Moon in Capricorn weaving a Grand Earth Trine into the mix, along with a septile to Saturn, we have an excellent time of allowing our “Soul to speak” in ways which demonstrate our understanding of the spiritual principles behind natural processes. Use the opposition to throw off lesser fears, duties, and responsibilities as you bring things to completion.
This is a VERY favorable opposition, so enjoy the high specialization, gifts, and blessings promised by this expanded awareness of a new service to be done. Look for these to come forth in your Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, and Pisces sectors with major developments involving planets or points around 2-6 Pisces/Virgo, 8-12 Libra/Aries, 14-18 Taurus/Scorpio, 20-24 Sagittarius/Gemini, and 26-30 Cancer/Capricorn. As you can see, Pluto also factors into this mix, so “read the tea leaves” and find deeper meaning in the symbols that the material world offers.
On a not-so-final note, Jupiter will continue to quintile Saturn through early November, so transits through the above zones will trigger everything I’ve offered here. That means the transits through 8-12 Libra and 14-18 Scorpio will set a lot of things into motion! Enjoy what comes, since the expanded awareness will open doors to a future already on the horizon in November!
