Astrologers everywhere are buzzing with apprehension that “it’s the Pluto return of the United States.” While I do not believe it’s the Pluto return of the nation, it is the Pluto return of the beginning of the Revolutionary War, since Pluto is again at 27 Capricorn. Today we take a look at the chart for the inception of the American Revolution!

Here we must remember “the United States” actually has several charts outlining how it got to be an independent country governed by a unifying set of laws we call the Constitution. The first such event was the shooting skirmish at Lexington Massachusetts, the “shot heard round the world.”

I’ve attached the chart for that important moment in history, and we see that on April 19, 1775, Pluto was at 27 Capricorn, the same degree it went stationary retrograde just a few weeks ago. So it’s definitely the Pluto return of "the midnight ride of Paul Revere" and the beginning of the Revolutionary War.

Pluto was between 25-27 Capricorn in 1775 (just like 2021), and went stationary retrograde at 29 Capricorn in early 1776. By early July 1776, it was at 28 Capricorn. (1776 will be paralleled in 2022, since Pluto will go stationary retrograde at 29 Capricorn in April 2022, and be at 28 Capricorn retrograde June-July 2022 and again in December 2022.)

This brings us to another important milestone in the formation of our nation. Obviously, the Declaration of Independence is very important. However, July 4 was the date they finally got a unanimous vote for PR purposes. The Continental Congress actually voted in majority for independence on July 2, but waited until some absent delegates showed up to have a show of unanimity and then on July 4 declared it to the public. John Adams actually thought July 2 to be our independence day.

But it can be argued that neither of these days was the actual founding of our nation, since the first was merely the beginning of a war and the second merely 13 colonies stating they would no longer submit to the authority of the British Crown. Neither of these has anything to do with laying out how a nation is to be governed.

The next important day would be the ratification of the Articles of Confederation, since that was the first formal effort to codify a set of laws governing the compact between states. The AOC were approved November 15, 1777, and came into force on March 1, 1781 after ratification by all the states. At that time Pluto was at 6 Aquarius. However, it quickly became evident that “the limitations placed upon the central government rendered it ineffective” at actually governing the states. As more states agreed changes were needed, they met in a Constitutional Convention and agreed that the “entire Articles needed to be replaced.”

Which brings us to the ratification and adoption of our Constitution, the governing document stipulating the laws governing the United States. I believe the ratification of that document to be the true “founding” of the United States, as it stipulates the structure of government, the law stipulating the powers of government and the limits on those powers, and is the determining rule of law in all disputes in and between states. I’ll post my usual “unbirthday” article on the US on July 4 with the data on the Constitution, ratified on September 17, 1787, with Pluto at 15 Aquarius and Saturn at 24 Aquarius.

So there are many possible “Pluto returns” for our nation, and while many of our laws are unjust and it seems our democratic republic has many in its government who are fascist authoritarians, for now we’re revisiting the seeds of the beginning of a long ago war which was triggered by a shot fired by an unknown person. Yes, no one knows who actually fired the first shot at the Battle of Lexington and Concord, and there are conflicting records of which side had the first casualty.

Anyway, enjoy studying the chart for the beginning of the Revolutionary War while remembering it’s not the Pluto return of the United States, and it is the Pluto return of the beginning of the Revolutionary War.
