Which means that Jupiter is making its first pass into the span of 23 Aquarius-3 Pisces, where it will go retrograde in June! Lots of threshold action ahead!

The shadow zone is defined by the span between where a planet goes retrograde, and where it goes direct after the retrograde period. In this case, Jupiter goes retrograde at 3 Pisces on June 20, just 12 hours before the Northern Hemisphere Summer Solstice. It will retrograde back to 23 Aquarius, where it goes stationary direct on October 17/18.

That puts the shadow zone between 23 Aquarius and 3 Pisces, and on March 25 Jupiter enters 23 Aquarius, the degree where it’ll go SD in October. So this year Jupiter’s shadow zone takes us through the emotional and social as well as the individual, mental, and spiritual levels of “management” marking the second half of Aquarius and into the physical-material level of “federation.”

During this run of Jupiter from 23 Aquarius to 3 Pisces, it will quintile Uranus and be aspected by the inner planets numerous times. In April it will receive numerous septiles, sextiles, and quintiles by the Sun, Mercury, and Venus, and be trined by Mars in Gemini, while in May it will be squared by these planets and sesquisquared by Mars in Cancer. Before it goes SRX in June, Mars makes a biquintile, a quincunx, and a triseptile, and Jupiter deciles Pluto.

Jupiter direct helps us expand into future possibilities, adventures, and truths; Jupiter retrograde gives us a different understanding, or a different angle of approach. Jupiter RX can bring us echoes of old opportunities and truths in new forms, or the return of an “attitude of expansion” which throws off old limiting views.

Because it’s in the sector of the zodiac where we experience the group cooperation and vision of Aquarius and then the larger connective, compassionate energy of Pisces, from now to mid-May and again from late July through December, we can learn how to manage our greater social and emotional, as well as individual spiritual energies within a collective setup so we can better fulfill our part to play in the greater evolutionary pulse indicated by the emerging Aquarian energies. Of course, Jupiter occupying the first 3 degrees of Pisces from mid-May through late July gives us renewed compassion and a window on what will begin to expand rapidly at the end of December.

The Jupiterian promise or vision you receive over the next 3 months will be clarified after the Sun opposes Jupiter and then Jupiter’s SRX degree in the second half of August. That should help us understand what we’re being trained for, as well as the “indestructible” elements of our personality and Spiritual Quest. Just remember that the Summer oppositions to Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter between mid-July and late August offer a greater awareness of “illuminated lessons and opportunities” of transformation leading us to a more accelerated growth related to our “graduation into a new realm of being” we began in May 2020.

When Jupiter goes SRX in June at 3 Pisces, it will bring us all visions and truths related to “mastery of form over substance,” “archetypal immortality,” “conscious handling of existence,” and “participation in race impulses.” Those who understand their timeless potential to move into “permanent expression of higher awareness” will find their lives opening to a greater harvest in 2022. And as a bonus, in the first half of May and the first part of August, we get openings related to our “graduation into a new realm of Being” which began last May. In other words, whatever we “graduated into” will be a source of openings, opportunity, vision, and potential futures.
