Jupiter Stations Retrograde, May 14, 2020 - Perspective

Jupiter, wayfarer, lord of plenty, storyteller extraordinaire, has stationed Retrograde today, at 27°14’ Capricorn. Almost there. Almost made it to the mountaintop. Almost conquered the heights. And yet, it’s time to come back down and remind ourselves of the view from below. To revisit our journey, and what it has taught us. What we know now that we didn’t know then. How can we channel this vertical ascent into inner elevation.
Retrograde Jupiter is about shifting our perspective. Even and especially when we thought we had seen it all. Because, in truth, with the planet of wisdom and plenty headed for a second conjunction to underworld sovereign Pluto mid-June, to unearth more secrets, dig up more remains of what was already dead and buried, chances are that we haven’t. Gaining a bird’s eye view of the world is not just about reaching the peaks — it’s about knowing what lurks in the abyss, too.
Retrograde Jupiter is a time of spiritual introspection, philosophical recalibration, reassessment of knowledge, distillation of wisdom. Of fully embracing the beliefs that support our growth, and abandoning those that we have outgrown, so that we don’t stray from our path. Jupiter and Pluto crossing paths once more means that we aren’t done with the wisdom and treasures found in the darkest recesses of our Souls. There’s still something to learn. Something that needs to be brought into focus.
But this time will be different. We’ve been there. We’ll rise again.
Jupiter will station direct on September 12, 2020 at 17°24’ Capricorn.

To me, Astrology is personal, spiritual, political and magickal at once, and it should be used to uplift, empower and clarify. This is what I do with my clients.
I'm an Astrologer based in Italy, with a MA in Cultural Anthropology and a passion for music, Nature and Art. I'm the founder and curator of Zodiac Poetry Astrology (formerly Aeternalight Astrology). I also work as a translator and editor in the publishing industry. I've been studying astrology, Tarot and metaphysics since 2009.
