As we approach the end of this Mercury retrograde period, we have yet another significant conjunction, this time with Venus.

This brings the mind in review mode directly into contact with our “appreciation factor,” giving us a new look at our Aries sector and why we like what we like.

This is the first of two Mercury conjunctions with Venus this year. This one features Mercury retrograde at 18 Aries, and the next one will be in mid-June at 1 Cancer a few days before the Solstice. Mercury is giving us a review of many things related to late Aries in our lives; when it conjuncts Venus we should get a new take on something of value from the past.

As both of these planets are conjunct Chiron, whatever delays or roundabout ways this plays out will lead to some form of healing. Healing of the reflective mind fused with the appreciative part of us. Healing through a memory of a sweet beginning in the past, or through seeing the past in a different light. As Mercury will conjunct Chiron three times this year, clearly we have a lot of both direct and indirect Chiron mentoring going on!

So continue to review, reflect, rehearse, and get a new understanding of what’s been awakened and what continues to be awakened. This give us a review of recent starts, and can give us a new understanding of the value of learning to rest between activities, or preserve our strength of potency somehow.

Soon Mercury will go direct, and we’ll all get a third pass of “The Guide of Souls” through our late Aries sector. Everything we’ve learned about Aries this year will be plugged into motion in May and early June when Mars activates everything Aries, including all stations and conjunctions made to Jupiter and Chiron in the past two years.

Continue to link with others to overcome difficulty or a sense of barrenness, continue to heal and be healed, mentor and be mentored, as we are moving quickly into new worlds, new lands, new views, and new lives!
