12/22 ~ Venus (love, finances & relationships) ~square~ Uranus (sudden change):
This is a test to grow that you cannot plan for. Venus rules your values & priorities and an activation with Uranus signifies something sudden and seemingly out-of-the-blue. Of course, this isn’t true, but it can feel that way. The truth is, it is time to do something “different” where your love, finances or relationships are concerned. Making a conscious effort to do things in a completely new way will be rewarded with a lesson & a blessing you would’ve never considered. Due to new revelations happening within you, the immediate response will come from those closest to you.

If you’re in relationships (personal or professional) that have reached a point where they have to change or end, this is a good time to try to discuss it openly and with as much detachment & objectivity as possible. This energy can provoke the need for excitement or stimulation in your relationships, giving you the urge to shake things up. Be aware & mindful of others’ feelings too because they may not be in the mood for such sudden change. Another expression of this energy is to get things on the table; it’s a great time to really discuss things & come to an agreement or compromise. Ultimately, this is a test of your flexibility in relationships. The more inflexible or attached to status quo that you are, the more disruptive this energy can be.

12/22 ~ Mars (desire & action) ~sextile~ Pluto (purification & transformation):
This is lower will meets Higher Will ~ within you! Mars is your inner Masculine and therefore helps you take action & make choices according to who you are and what you want. Pluto will ensure that you come from the purest place within (Soul-level), which often entails a cleansing of the non-essential and over-growth of the last cycle first. Luckily, this is not a “hard/bad” activation but an opportunity to connect with what you really want, at the deepest Soul-level, which will naturally lead to whatever is blocking that and its ultimate release. Keep in mind that those who are more out-of-touch with who they are and what they want tend to explode & implode when Mars & Pluto get together, even in a positive aspect like this one. This is a potent and (thankfully) positive mix of energy & power coming together, direct it wisely on your own behalf. This activation is a great opportunity for substantial forward movement, however, nothing worthwhile comes without conscious effort and sacrifice. (With Pluto involved there is always a sacrifice.) In this case, the sacrifice will likely be where your vision of the final outcome is concerned. Your desires can/will be fulfilled but they just may not “look” like you thought they would. Remember, when it comes to “wanting” anything, stay in touch with the “feeling” that your desire brings rather than the physical appearance or manifestation. You always want to set your intentions, do the work, then allow Spirit to breathe LIFE into the vision.

12/24 ~ Sun (core identity) ~trine~ Uranus (individuality):
This energy is wonderful for a little self-examination and taking action on your own behalf. Look at your habits, home situation, work or anything else that is important to you and look at how you’ve gotten to where you are. What kind of choices led to here? This is a good time to look around and see how you can conserve what is useful and release that which is no longer relevant for you going forward. It’s also a good energy for organizing & clearing the decks, so to speak, of things that have piled up but still need to be dealt with (or released altogether). You may be feeling very practical, possibly selfish, but it’s actually self-preservation.

12/26 ~ CAPRICORN New Moon/Solar Eclipse: (#5 of 8 eclipses)
We can seed the Capricorn New Moon/Solar Eclipse (12/26) and clarify our intentions going into the new year. The Cardinal Energy of Cancer/Capricorn/Libra/Aries is all about our *Fundamentals* and making choices & decisions in those departments of life. The messages are subtle yet fierce, clearly pointing to the end of the old as we create space and activate the fertility (compost) of the NEW!! The Cancer Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (1.10.2020) will help us permanently clear the past, release all that we’ve gathered and nurtured (and been deeply attached to in some way) during 2019 and move lighter, into the new decade. How were you fed/nourished by the energies of 2019? Did you discover new ways of productively channeling your emotions? This eclipse initiates a new cycle, your new reality and gives you a renewed foundation that you can now build on so that it is stabilized and has maximum capacity to support you in all your endeavors.

Eclipses activate larger cycles so reflect on the years: 2009-2011 / 2000-2002 / 1990-1992 and consider the theme that gets repeatedly activated for you. You may just be beginning to be able to fully understand the changes that were activated back in those previous years and how they relate to what is coming up for you now. Most times the energy is too intense in the moment and it is hard to know exactly what or where the energies are pushing you. Eclipse cycles also tend to take about 6-months to clarify the activation, while the entire process of initiation takes 2-3 years to anchor the next 8-10 years, with an extended realm of effects for 18-20 years. What do you want anchored now, where your Home/Sacred Space and Work/Contribution are both concerned?

Often, the Solar Eclipse will be activating your physical body, while the Lunar Eclipse will be activating your emotional body, but together, your spiritual body should go to a completely new level. The lessons this month will center around emotional and material security; home and work; sacred space and sacred work; private and public life; Sacred Feminine and Sacred Masculine; Archetypal Mother and Father. How can you be more responsible for your feelings (Inner), as well as for what you create in the world (Outer)? How can you connect to a deep sense of belonging (Cancer) and an authentic sense of responsibility for your life and life’s work (Capricorn)?

The Capricorn lesson centers around Inner Authority & Personal Responsibility. What are you known for in your personal life and what are you known for in your professional life? This is an opportunity to clarify what Sacred, Heart-Centered Work is for you and release any blockages to you contributing your unique piece to society. This is an opportunity to release any weakness, fear and let go of the past once and for all. It is time to center and truly own who you are and what you want from this life and then you can use this energy to renew your commitment to living your Truth & Purpose. Once a year, these two link up to expand your life & consciousness. It’s time to infuse your personal story with a new level of individual Truth. You have learned & experienced a lot in one year and now you are supported to integrate (and apply) all that you’ve discovered. This energy expands your sense of Self, and inspires you to new heights within. It indicates that it is time to go to the next level and gives you the optimism & faith that you need to try new things and/or learn something new. The highest expression of this energy is a fiery passion to be the best, the lowest expression is arrogance and self-righteousness. This is a powerful pair of energies joining forces, so watch for opportunities to grow and expand your consciousness, as well as your circumstances through your own efforts & expertise.
