The Best Crystals For Reducing Stress

The Best Crystals For Reducing Stress

As 76% of Canadians experience stress on a daily basis, it’s quite obvious that stress is a problem on a national level. Whether it’s because of finances, school, work, or family, stress can cause a plethora of problems, such as poor appetite and loss of sleep, and even lead to anxiety disorders. However, for many, using crystals is a great way to improve your health and can offer a simple solution to those experiencing stress.

Sodalite crystals

When it comes to reducing and relieving stress through crystals, sodalite is a great choice due to its healing energy, which is said to ward off panic attacks and create inner peace. Often seen as a rich blue, this crystal is known for its harmonizing and soothing effect that it has on the one who utilizes it. That being said, sodalite can also be useful in calming the mind and solving internal conflicts and arguments - which is great for those stressful moments when all you want to do is think more clearly. Not only that, but sodalite is also said to bring a healthier immune system to those who use the crystal - which is an amazing property when studies and research show that stress can cause illness. Perhaps these are all reasons why sodalite is often referred to as the “stone of peace”.

The properties of Moonstone

White with black speckles, the moonstone crystal is said to have emotional healing properties that can aid in times of stress. While Moonstone is a feminine crystal, it can bring out feelings of intuition - which can help when you find yourself in a stressful situation and in need of emotional balance. It’s worth mentioning that while Moonstone is a feminine crystal, men can also utilize it and reap the benefits just as well. With its lunar connection and ability to bring you stability, calmness, and power, there is no better crystal to turn to when you’re feeling overwhelmed by stress and anxiety.

Designing the perfect stress-free oasis

While crystals can be worn as jewelry, placed throughout your house, or even just carried in a pocket or purse, one of the best ways to reap the benefits of stress relieving crystals is to use them in meditation. Using crystals in meditation can be beneficial in many ways, especially when you wish to have a specific outcome - in this case, stress relief. Whether you prefer to meditate with loved ones or alone, in order to do so properly, designing the perfect meditative oasis is a must.

Begin by designating a space for it. This can be a quiet corner of a room, or even a separate room altogether - though the overall goal is to create a calm and peaceful atmosphere. When it comes to the crystals themselves, however, it’s important to know that there are many ways of incorporating them into your meditation routine. You can place the crystals around you as you meditate, hold them in your hands, or lay down and place the crystals on your body to harness their powers and healing properties - and don’t forget to add in things such as candles and the appropriate lighting to enhance the experience.

Stress can affect anyone at any time, so it’s important to know your options when it comes to avoiding and relieving it. While many people may reach for over the counter sleeping and headache pills, crystals are a great alternative - and there are many crystals available that hold stress relieving properties worth looking into.
