Enhance Sleep By Bringing Crystals into Your Bedroom Space

Enhance Sleep By Bringing Crystals into Your Bedroom Space

Despite being aware of the importance of a perfect night’s rest, nearly half the country are facing health problems linked to sleep-related issues. In fact, over 50% of adults in Canada say their sleep is sub-par during most nights, according to federal statistics. So, what can you do if you have already set a curfew, turned off your alarms, and even banned your furry loved ones from your bed at night? That is where DIY energy healing comes in with the help of crystals

According to Heather Askinosie, author and co-founder of Energy Muse, there are 4 crystals that can promote better sleep. These healing crystals will help aid in those with difficulty sleeping and quieting the mind in meditation. However, where you place your crystals will also play a strong role in the total effect of building your perfect bedroom oasis.

Placing Crystals in the Right Place

Setting up the ideal sleep environment is essential before you integrate crystals into your bedroom. If you explore a range of mattress reviews, you'll notice one vital feature: the need for comfort. Provided that your pillows are thick enough and the crystals aren’t sharp, you should be able to keep your crystal directly under your pillow. However, there are other solutions, such as keeping lepidolite under the foot of the bed in order to enhance its effects. Of course, you can always place your crystals on the nightstand nearby. The main goal is to find the right crystals that work for you as well as finding a spot where you will most clearly feel their effects.

Lepidolite

Feeling signs of anxiety, stress or depression? Lepidolite has many powerful attributes that allow you to relieve stress and help you sleep better.  Not to mention, Lepidolite is helpful for focus and meditation as it helps you to sink into the alpha state that slows down brain waves.

Scolecite

As one of the most popular stones known to help aid in sleep, Scolecite has a soothing and calming energy that is also effective in stress relief. Scolecite is the mineral that’ll instantly clear your energetic field and give you a sense of deep relaxation. Not to mention, this stone also encourages lucid dreaming

Amethyst

Sleeping with an amethyst on your bedside table or under your pillow is said to promote lucid dreaming and out-of-body experiences. It opens the chakra and aligns your mind with divine wisdom, bringing healing energy to your dreams, attunes your brain waves to calmness, and promotes healthy deep sleep. This amazing stone is also known for its protection against bad vibes and keeping nightmares at bay.

Black Tourmaline

Known for its strong protective properties, building positive energy, and absorbing negative energy; Black Tourmaline is one of the most powerful crystals used for anxiety. For those who have a habit of keeping electronic devices in the bedroom, Black Tourmaline will help aid against harmful frequencies that are emitted from gadgets. This crystal will also cleanse energy blockages in the body and in your home, allowing you to fall asleep easily.

At the end of the day, crystals are amplifiers, meaning they can keep some users up at night. All it takes is a bit of experimenting with your placements to see which crystals work best for you. After all, less is more when it comes to natural healing and peaceful rest.
