In the esoteric world, the Lapis Lazuli is considered a powerful energy receiver, associated with spirituality and the search for wisdom.

Holistic healers use Lapis Lazuli to stimulatethe energy center throat or fifth chakra ( Vishuddha ), as it is believed to be capable of promoting communicational processes.

Equally, it was a common element in the decoration of Egyptian tempos and mummification rituals while the Romans attributed aphrodisiac properties to it. Lapis Lazuli powder was used in the makeup of Roman women, and centuries later, it was included in the dye formula known as ultramarine, used in the creation of works of art ( paintings ). The technique was in force until the 19th century.

Lapis Lazuli is recommended to combat shyness, as it promotes social life, assertive communication in public, self-awareness, mental clarity, objectivity, integrity, and overcoming creative blockages, and the tendency to confuse fantasy and reality.
