December 2025 Quarterly Astrological Update

Winter Solstice: December 21, 2025; 10:04 AM EST

Now that winter’s clarity arrives with crystalline white snow, do you feel relieved? I ask this because this fall our solar system was intensely affected by an unprecedented event: the arrival of the mysterious visitor from deep space moving very fast through Earth’s Ecliptic Plane. As people considered what this could mean, astrologers were amazed to see how close it would pass by some of the inner planets and the Sun. As we examined its trajectory and its close approaches to their orbits, this felt like a force that could transform our collective mind. Maybe we would realize we are not alone in the cosmos? Of course, most of you reading this have always known we are one species among many, one civilization among many. I welcomed this visitor from interstellar space because it seems to herald the demise of cosmological arrogance. We are experiencing a primordial awakening, deep and ego-shattering. The fall of scientism is liberating!

While these galactic activities were going on this fall, the outer planetary retrogrades of Neptune, Uranus, and Saturn were dragging back into their previous signs to rehash old collective issues just once more. Pluto, now firmly in Aquarius until 2044, is digging into many dark problems, especially the evils of war and greed that are trashing Earth. During fall 2025, most people felt extremely stuck— and then when Pluto turned direct in mid-October, volcanoes, earthquakes, and catastrophic flooding shook the very ground we walk on! Everything was roiling, even politics and governance. As I write this analysis in mid-December, the global mood is very tense.

The 2025 US Government Shutdown and the MAGA/Woke rancor mirrored the global cataclysmic events perfectly. I was reminded of scary 1950s films of people falling into quicksand! Paralyzed by fear with rolling eyes as they sank deeper and deeper, these actors choked to death in goo! As we approach this Winter Solstice, the outer planets are moving forward one-by-one, except for Uranus pulling back into Taurus until early February 2026, This makes us feel less stuck, yet the pace of events, especially global financial, is unnerving, even terrifying. Ironically Uranus, the planet that usually triggers huge changes, functions like a stabilizer as it is still in Taurus. Be that as it may, it is time to summon all the courage we have; be prepared to act! Our cosmic cousins tell me we must express what we really believe in to adopt new paradigms, and NOW! Earth has to be first. Her tectonic transformation is inevitable; we must listen to her.

The cosmic conductor of our solar system’s symphony this winter is 3I/ATLAS as it comes closest to Earth during the December 19 New Moon in 28 Sagittarius. The lunation is exactly conjunct the center of our galaxy, the Milky Way that is quincunxed by Uranus in 28 Taurus, a 150 degree aspect that will infuse us with multidimensional consciousness. It will be a portal to the galactic mind because Saturn-conjunct-Neptune in late Pisces squares the New Moon and sextiles Uranus, a Pythagorean Triangle that heralds a new spiritual paradigm for humankind—holistic attunement with 9D intelligence. On December 21 during the Winter Solstice, 3I/ATLAS is still very close to Earth, and highly advanced intelligence from Saturn and Neptune will arrive in Earth’s sacred sites as our pineal glands respond to the first winter light. The spirits of the ancient ones, our ancestors, will return to sacred site portals, such as Newgrange, Chaco Canyon, Stonehenge, and Teotihuacan. There is nothing to fear! High-dimensional spiritual forces, the Masters, really are coming back. The topological image of this beautiful Skyrmion (below) may hint at how they delicately insert their spirits into our world.

The Winter Solstice chart is posted at the end, so please scroll down to familiarize yourself with it before I go into more detail about 3I/ATLAS. Notice how the Solstice Sun, from Earth’s perspective, is closely cradled by Venus and Mars—allurement and power. When 3I/ATLAS passed closest to Mars on October 3, peace was seeded in Earth with the ceasefire in Gaza. When Atlas passed close to the Sun on October 29-30, it flared wildly, and I felt our Sun being reprogrammed by new paradigms to trigger Earth’s evolutionary upgrade. Soon thereafter, on November 3, ATLAS passed closest to Venus. Considering the heliocentric perspective, Venus is inside Earth, to the Sun, and I felt a delicious and alluring cosmic wave that seemed to calm the ferocious tectonic events, maybe quelled them on Earth, at least for a little while. I have been deeply heart-struck by the suffering caused by these frightening earth changes. Yet, this profound opening of 2D intelligence has also been opening me to the great wave of love from Venus. I feel like we are fetuses in Venus’s womb being protected while Earth reformulates, just like our own mothers once did.

Challenged by the many proofs of how little we know about the cosmos, orthodox scientists know their latest theories do not account for the great tectonic upheaval that is going on now. I think Earth is expanding to accommodate Earth’s cosmic Initiation, a hypothesis that is anathema to orthodoxy. An excellent book that convinced me Earth has been expanding during the last 100,000 years is Camille M. Sauve’s Sorcerers of Stone (2024). Our planet responding to a highly activated Sun is infusing our hearts with great multidimensional powers in the Galactic Center, especially when ATLAS is close December 19-21. The illustration of the “Person on the Table” depicts how we’re being changed by 5D-9D Platonic Solid Tesseracts that are being charged by the lower dimensions of our planet—with us sandwiched in the middle.

We must ask: How we can adjust to such fantastic shifts in our minds? The key is the timing: Winter Solstice is the most subtle time of our year. For three-to-five days around December 21, new winter light penetrates Earth’s sacred sites as she orgasms in sheer delight. Her sacred sites, constructed thousands, even millions of years ago, were designed by the Ancient Ones to awaken us during the full penetration of the Winter Solstice Sun. As 3I/ATLAS widens the portal to the Galactic Center, we will open deep memory of other lifetimes in the Milky Way Galaxy. Some will leave their bodies to return home to higher dimensions. I wrote this paragraph a few days before I enjoyed a wonderful talk with Geophysicist Stefan Burns led by Emilio Ortiz. I’d just seen Stefan describe Earth’s annual transit through the Interstellar Gas Focus Cone in his podcast, “ Unheralded Solar Storm Peaks in 30 Days .” I reported to Stefan that this cone explains to me the intense mystical forces that I always feel near the Solstice—forces that were focalized by our ancestors at sacred sites. This Focus Cone is very relevant for those of us who practice seasonality, so I’d suggest accessing his discussion about it.

As the Solstice Sun moves into Capricorn shortly after 10 AM in Washington, DC, it is geocentrically cradled between Venus in 26 Sagittarius and Mars in 5 Capricorn, a wonderful female/male Solstice harmonic. During the New Moon on the Galactic Center two days before, Venus and Mars are also cradling the New Moon as she makes Earth fertile for new seeds. This could be the proverbial lion laying down with the lamb! To imagine what these messages might mean, let’s examine same aspects during the Solstice.

Venus-trine-Chiron in 23 Aries signals healings for the wounded female within. Deeply abusive and violent patterns sourced in male/female disharmony for thousands of years have been shockingly revealed in our time. With the new light this year, cosmic wisdom can help us face this disgusting state of affairs! The urgency of this need for male/female harmony is highlighted by the close square from Saturn/Neptune in Pisces to Venus in Sagittarius on the Galactic Center along with the Solstice Sun and Mars. These patterns in the sky scream out— it is time to end sexual power abuse. The revelations of Jeffrey Epstein’s behavior help us see how elaborate secrecy among men in power enabled Epstein to abuse children. I believe our Sun’s reprogramming by 3I/ATLAS October 29-30 is now creating transparency. It seems to me these abuses can cease when humans, mostly men, are forced to go beyond their egos; they are not the only ones in the Universe! I admire Marjorie Taylor Greene for her courageous support for the women abused by Jeffrey Epstein.

Pluto in 2 Aquarius trines Uranus in 28 Taurus while sextiling Saturn/Neptune in 26-29 Pisces. This great transformative pattern, a “Kite,” influenced us hugely during this past fall whenever a planet transited the bottom of the kite—the point opposite Saturn-conjunct Neptune. This profound and very rare archetypal outer planet configuration will bring great and inspiring ideas this winter. Just before Saturn and Neptune conjunct in 1 Aries on February 20, during the New Moon in 29 Aquarius, there will be an incredible gathering of Pluto, Mars, Sun/Moon, Venus, Lunar N. Node, Mercury, Saturn, Neptune all within 57 degrees—4 Aquarius to 1 Aries. Uranus will have just gone direct a few weeks before, so its last gasp of grounded power in Taurus will intensify the potency of this dramatic stellium!

The other big cosmic moment this winter will be 3I/ATLAS’s closest passage to Jupiter in Cancer on March 16 amidst this great gathering of luminaries in the sky. And, there are no retrograde planets except Mercury when Jupiter is reprogrammed by ATLAS after Jupiter has stationed direct on March 10. The visual lack of backward movement of the planets will support new paradigms from the deep past with Mercury retrograde. Then a few days later, the Spring Equinox will arrive, which is our time to make very specific intentions for the seasonal year.

What is this astonishing astrology and the visitation by a cosmic messenger telling us? In esoteric philosophy, Jupiter is the home of our solar system’s master teachers. They will open our minds to galactocentric intelligence—remembering we are all one as we share love with each other in the frequency fields of the Universe. Based on this winter’s astrology, ignited by 3I/Atlas’s journey through our solar system, I believe this is coming. As for Gerry and me and maybe you too, we’ll remember being children delighted by Santa Claus’s sleigh traveling through the sky as 3I/ATLAS travels near to our planet and out to Jupiter, bringing gifts for Earth’s children.
