Disseminating Moon in Astrology: Share & Release

Disseminating Moon in Astrology: Share & Release

Share Full Moon revelations as the Disseminating Moon lights the path to meaningful change ~Crystal Wind

The Disseminating Moon April 3rd ~ 10th

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

The Waning Gibbous, or the Disseminating Moon is actually the last phase of the Full Moon. This is when the bright Full Moon appears to gradually diminish. And so we take what we had learned, realizing, accomplished, or completed at the Full Moon, and share what we have learned with others. This is when we light the flames of others, pass the torch and find ways to make what we created meaningful and sustainable. One of the ways we make sense of our own journey is by sharing our stories with others.

Three Cosmic Stories Unfolding This Week

There are at least 3 stories that we can share this week. One is the story of the Jupiter/Uranus cycle, which was being highlighted by the Full Moon on April 1st. Another story concerns that Saturn/Pluto cycle that recently culminated with its opening sextile. And lastly, Uranus enters its last anaretic degree in the sign of Taurus, in preparation for its ingress into the sign of Gemini on April 25th. All of these stories have bearing this week.

Although weakened by its separation, Jupiter and Uranus have been close enough to form a minor semi-square aspect, which had been exact last August. Soon after the Full Moon, the Moon, and then the Sun have been carrying the light from Uranus in its last degree of Taurus, to Jupiter, making us aware of this transit hovering in the background of our lives. This is like the opening Crescent phase of the Jupiter/Uranus cycle which began with its conjunction in April 2024.

Jupiter Uranus Cycle and the Call to Freedom

We may not necessarily remember what was going on in the Spring of 2024, nor the late Summer of 2025, but this story has been gradually unfolding in our lives through bright and shiny moments of realization, that were compelling us take that next step into our future. It wreaked of freedom, of shattering the chains that bind, of the willingness to take the risk to grow beyond our current circumstances. Innovative. Creative. Our own inner rebel has been daring us to unleash the shackles of our lives that keep us from living our own best lives. Even if it seemed inconceivable at the time. This is, however, a two-edged sword.

The back side of the Jupiter/Uranus cycle is its lawlessness, as it shatters boundaries, and erodes standards and laws that we previously relied on for things like Normalcy, Manners, and Decorum. Crazy and unpredictable, and lawless, the basis of the transit is about freedom. can be about an exciting new vision just over there on the horizon. Or it can be about an abundance of unpredictable events occurring one after another, after another, with almost no rhyme or reason. Welcome to chaos.

When thinking of the crescent phase of the Jupiter/Uranus cycle, we might think of us as going through some sort of growing pains, that are, at times, very much out of control. Like teenagers unsupervised and unshackled, almost anything can happen. And Lord knows it will.

The good news is that when Uranus enters Gemini on the 25th, and then Jupiter enters Leo the end of June, they will then form an opening sextile in July, a transit of positive potential and opportunity. Right now it could feel like we are tossing spaghetti on the wall and trying to understand the patterns at work. But by next Summer we may begin to see some results for all of our efforts up until now. This is the story of freedom: freedom of expression, freedom to live our own best lives, and the sort of creative expansion that can only come when we break down the inhibitions that bind us.

Uranus Anaretic Degree in Taurus and the Shift to Gemini

Uranus briefly entered Gemini last year (July-November) as something of an introduction to what may come now that Uranus will enter Gemini for the next 7 years. Each of these ingresses into new signs this year and last changes the very air and essence of our lives. With the ingress of Uranus into Gemini, all of the outer planets will have changed signs, bringing us into untrodden, unexperienced territory. A place we have never been to before in our lifetimes.

This week Uranus enters its final, anaretic, 29th degree of Taurus. This is where all of the energy of the previous 7 years is being concentrated, assimilated and broken down into its essence, before we enter the next stage of our Uranian journey. This is a story of change, innovation and growth. Uranus wants more than anything to find our own true and authentic center. In order to do that it challenges limitations, and rebels against anything that tries to label, define or requires us to conform.

Taurus is a sign that prefers stability, security and the status quo. Things that have structure and standards. Over the years with Uranus in Taurus we saw the rise of things like blockchain technology and cryptocurrency which rebelled against the common norms and standards of finance, as well as the very definition of art. With the assistance of a global pandemic, there was also a strong resistance to the rigid 9-5 work schedule. As a result, we began to see the emotional and physical benefits of a more flexible work/life schedule.

Uranus ultimately wants us to connect with our true selves, devoid of any outside pressures to conform to other’s standards. Taurus is a sign of the earth, of our bodies, the things that feed us, nourish and sustain us. What we eat, how we eat it, how we earn a living, our bodies, and those things that we value most, were being challenged in various ways. As it moves into Gemini later this month, it dares to challenge the ways that we perceive the world. The rapid launch of Artificial Intelligence is just the beginning.

Harnessing the Saturn Pluto Sextile for Renewal

The final story concerns the Saturn/Pluto sextile which will continue to hover in the background until the end of April. At this point in its opening sextile phase, we might want to consider some of the best ways to use this cycle of renovation, renewal and rebuilding:

Even if you are unable to implement it right away, this is a good time to create a plan that involves some sort of renovation, renewal or a rebuilding. This could be about a renovation of a home, or rebuilding your own life or body.

Preparing for the future. Whether that involves some sort of inevitable outcome, or some direction you know you are headed for, it’s about being more fully prepared. Whether that means simplifying your life, doing some serious Swedish Death Cleaning, or just decluttering in general, Saturn/Pluto can help us to restore much needed order (even more so in times of chaos).

Saturn/Pluto can help us to adapt to any changes in our lives. We can do this by establishing better habits, better routines, healthier patterns, that allow us to cope with any new circumstances or realities in our lives.

These may require some heavy lifting, or some ruthless decisions. But these are just the sort of planets that are needed for this kind of work. This is about clearing out what is no longer working, in order to make space for better things to come in.
