In this new podcast episode, I talk about the archetypal combination of Jupiter-Pluto-Chiron; and how from a depth psychological perspective they represent themes of power, authority, dignity; as well as polarities of oppression/oppressor, child/adult, wounded/caregiver, privilege/marginalization, and a call to heal our relationship with wounding, power, and trauma.

When we talk about these experiences, we're essentially asking: What heals? How do we heal? What brings balance? (both personally and collectively)

World transits (planetary aspects happening at any moment) illustrate collective as well as personal psychological cycles. Right now, we're in the peak of a year-long transit of Jupiter opposite Pluto (from September 2025 - August 2026). This is a 12 month psycho-spiritual journey of gaining resilience and the capacity to go deep.

This Jupiter-Pluto opposition is happening within a long-term 10 year transit of Chiron square Pluto (from 2024 - 2034). Chiron-Pluto is a highly dynamic transit involving themes of healing and resilience. This healing process (Chiron) may involve Plutonian experiences such as secrets, hidden knowledge, shame, repressed emotions or memories, marginalized populations or parts of self, resources from the earth, deep emotional bonds, life-death-rebirth, and more.

Chiron-Pluto is especially relevant in times where oligarchy, dictatorship, persecution, war, and genocide are heightened because this astro-psycho complex speaks to healing (Chiron) power dynamics (Pluto) through revealing the truth (Pluto) and more directly experiencing the pain, grief, rage, and historical events that led to the current situation (Chiron).

Chiron-Pluto asks us to find healing, meaning, and purpose in life's most intensely challenging experiences. At times, healing may come through the metaphysical, animistic perspectives (all things are connected and have a soul), myth, dreams, and other subterranean levels of psyche: pre-verbal, non-verbal, unconscious, somatic (all expressions of Pluto). Chiron-Pluto asks us to remember, value, and relate to the unseen.

This archetypal combination of Jupiter-Pluto within Chiron-Pluto brings a burst of energy in healing what has been hidden, repressed, or stolen. Jupiter shows big psychological shifts. We may feel inspired in one moment and overwhelmed in the next.

This is the wave-like pattern of psyche. A core principle of healing is dosage and context. The amount, timing, and context of any medicine or healing modality factors into how it heals or harms. My wish is for you to receive the care, support, and joy you need to move through whatever is present for you today.
